I agree, don't use Flixster or especially CinemaNow. I use only Vudu and to a limited degree Amazon Instant Video only when they have the movie and Vudu doesn't which has only happened 3 times.

Yes. The only thing I will be using Cinemanow for is to get cheap movies from their sales and then watching them through Vudu.

Re: CinemaNow & Ultraviolet Link - When?

Well i just signed up for CN on my laptop based on a slickdeals post and they gave me Dark Knight Rises for free. I played it from the web and its the whole movies but when you hover over the poster it shows only SD and doesnt have the "available in HD" like the other movies it also doesnt say UV even though there is a UV symbol on it. Also 20 of 144 movies show up available.

Edit: Movie list dropped by another 20, I'll stick with Vudu like everyone suggests. Also I'll keep my preorder in case this is only SD.

If you got The Dark Knight Rises in your CN account I doubt it will show up on Vudu or UVVU account. If you have 'The Dark Knight Rises: Prologue' 8 minute documentary in your UVVU account I think after linking CinemaNow and UV, CN is trying to resolve or find TDKR: Prologue and TDKR is the closet UV title.

Re: CinemaNow & Ultraviolet Link - When?

I'm still trying to get my original HD purchase fixed by them. They seem to just let support tickets expire and the online chat support is terrible. It seems fitting they keep connecting me to someone named Frank Castle since I feel punished every time I try to get help from them (Frank Castle is the Punisher in Marvel Comics).

EDIT: Finally after more than a week of ignored tickets and chat request they said they are going to refund me for the movie.

Re: CinemaNow & Ultraviolet Link - When?

I purchased 6 films during their Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Only 3 of them made it to my UV account. I opened a ticket on Tuesday. On Friday I got an email from tech support telling me they are working hard on fixing an issue with their backend and when they fix it all my movies should be added. I also got a free copy of TDNR so we will see if that gets added. Frankly I blame rovi for this whole mess since they created the backend.

I'm still missing some black friday movies too. I partially blame Rovi and partially blame CN. The UV stuff can be pinned on Rovi, but the site issues is CN. I've had several days where the site just won't let me buy anything. Their CS could use some tips from Vudu also. I haven't given up on them yet like a lot of folks seem to have.

Re: CinemaNow & Ultraviolet Link - When?

Currently per the only libraries that I can load - Panasonic Blu Ray(s) all of them, I have a movie count of 8,372..... Amazing since my UV account reflects 376 Ultra Violet titles & VUDU has about 425 or thereabouts (bundles and some duplicates so not exact).

Now try to stream them, any one of the 8,372 items, not on your life....the Torquemada wheel spins like mad for a few seconds and then reports an error of epic proportions & pops a message to please contact support. HAHAHAHAHA...... like that has worked.

CinemaNO will not load on PS3, Android Tablets or Phones, Apple IPod, or Sharp TV(s), the Torquemada wheel spins like mad for eons, no messages, well, except on the Android - "stopped working", DUH, like it ever did.

I was hoping that this would replace Flixster (or as some has so fondly titled it Dixkster), because, since the last update all it does is load, wait approximately 4 to 8 seconds, and, crash (worked just fine prior to the update that was supposed to cure mysterious DROID issues HAH). They too have received numerous e-mails regarding the issue.....HAHAHAHAHA.....response has been the same as CinemaNO, resounding silence.

I am now of the opinion that CinemaNO and Flixster are related in the most ugly of ways....none of which would be polite in any public forum to mention.

The saving grace to all of this is when I have to go on the road, I can carry my ROKU and not be subjected to Hotel TV fare now that ROKU has a VUDU compliant app that actually works. WOW THANK YOU VUDU!!!!

Netflix for the airport I guess, that still works on all of my devices.

As for giving up, not yet - they have some of my money for movies that I purchased recently & in the past.....they can either cough up the $$$ that I have spent & refund, or fix the situation within a reasonable period of time. Reasonable period of time does not equate to silence, or multiple excuses & stalling either.

If you paid via credit card tell them if they don't get those movies working say within a week you are going to a charge back.

Same here did not work. Still having major issues including movies that I purchased not in UV locker. They need to get it together. I have three tickets that I keep requesting status for and get no response. I have a ticket with UV and they responded to me this morning letting me know my ticket has been elevated finally after two weeks. I hope when the other services roll out UV they do a better job.

Well, mine finally loaded after letting my phone sit for a while. The problem is it gives me multiple copies of a lot of movies. I don't mean 2 or 3 copies, but 15 or 20 copies of the same move.

My iPhone 4s loaded my library of 67 movies in about three minutes. I was happy I could finally play a movie without the app crashing. One thing that could be impacting my usability of this app is I'm running iOS 6.1 on the iPhone 4S.

Just signed up for CinemaNow just to see what it's about. Wow this thing is absolute junk. It would not even play a movie from my xbox and some of the TV shows said i only owned the first episode and told me to buy the rest lol. Why would they even launch the service with this many issues
