    500 bucks worth of LAME

"Must Redeem Digital Copy Offer by 1/29/2015. Includes standard definition Digital Copy of the main features with the purchase of this disc."

But good news... assuming all 50 titles are D2D you would only have topat an additional 100 bucks to get them upgraded to HDX

I wish D2D was still a viable option.

What I don't understand is if the movie is available to rent or purchase through vudu, why isn't it available with the D2D program? I've been wanting Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace in my UV collection for a long time...

I think they are MGM movies. MGM is not an ultraviolet participant as far as I know.

OK. I'm still trying to understand the Boolean logic of this whole thing. You can have:

            1. Digital Copy that is an Ultraviolet copy, capable of streaming through Vudu and/or Flixster
            2. You can rent/own movies through Vudu that are only available to watch with a Vudu app or on the vudu website, but not necessarily a UV copy.

Does that sound right? Is that why there are movies available to purchase through vudu but not available on D2D?

Yep. Most if not all UV movies are Vudu compatible, but not all Vudu movies are UV compatible.

Yep, and to be D2D, it must be UV.
