    Anchor Bay now UV

Just noticed this when I saw Evil Dead added to my UV locker. Looks like Anchor Bay joined Ultraviolet. I noticed a few movies on my wish list are now UV compatable (pandorum, His Name Was Jason). Nice to have them on board. A quick scan of their website shows Apollo 18, Battle Royal, Blue Valentine, The Crazies (the remake version), The Hellboy animated films, etc... are all now UV.

The King's Speech is also now UV. This is useless to me though unless it's added to D2D. I refuse to buy it again

The main thing about this is that their new releases may come with codes though. I know Evil Dead has a code in the UK. Maybe we'll start to get them here in the US. I guess we will see when Lawless comes out.

Good news indeed, looking through the list, these are the ones I am interested in (sorry for caps, its copy/paste)

            THE CRAZIES
            DANTE'S INFERNO
            THE EVIL DEAD
            GHOST IN THE SHELL
            HALLOWEEN (when released on vudu)
            LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
            MY WEEK WITH MARILYN
            OUR IDIOT BROTHER
            PANDORUM

Not a big movie company (lot's of B rated movies IMO), but some gems =D

This is good and bad. The bad being they are not added to D2D so i'm sure most people are not going to buy another copy just to put in UV locker.

I figure they'll be added to D2D eventually.

Much like I figure that Lionsgate will eventually convert their older stuff to UV and D2D.

If/when that happens, I'll be making another big run to Wally World for conversions.

I would love to get an HDX file for John Carpenter's original Halloween. Jamie Lee Curtis is so young in this movie and today she has gray hair and sells Activia.
