    Delete Movies From UV

I know it can't be done... just saying that I am starting to wish it could be... I now have Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 1 in there 3 times... and its kind of annoying.... Also I really would like to get ride of 17 Again... I'm tired of seeing it there...

I know what you mean. I have 4 Austin Powers, 5 Deathly Hallows Pt 1, 5 Deathly Hallows Pt 2, 4 Michael Claytons plus 2 of every Universal title that gave me an SD copy that I ended up taking in to D2D for an HD copy. Plus a few freebie movies I will never end up watching (Spacejam, Looney Tunes back in Action, Matchstick Men, 17 Again). I also ended up with multiple Don Juan Demarco and Lean On Me copies and those won't even show in Vudu.

Movies can be deleted from a UV Locker, however only the provider who added the content can remove it. I experienced this myself when I had an issue with a movie (Moneyball) not showing on the sonypictures store. Sony removed the redemption and the title was removed from my UV locker. After unlinking and relinking UV they added the movie back and it showed on their site as expected.

It definitely sounds like an option a few of us are going to take advantage of once this becomes available.

A majority of duplicates are flixster and flixster refuses to remove movies. They will flat out refuse. I went back and forth with several cs reps and they eventually just stopped responding to my request. They don't care why you want it removed (in my case it was to replace an sd copy of a Warner movie with an hd code) they will say no. Vudu on the other hand will remove them. Usually within minutes of requesting. The one uv movie I had them remove they just responded to verify I really wanted it deleted and when I said yes they removed it.

Flixster's help page says they plan to roll out the ability to delete a film in a future version.

I have a few duplicates due to Vudu using D2D, where each movie shows 4 copies in my UV account... I'm also looking forward to the delete so I can have them removed. I may just email UV support and see if they can fix it?

I got the 5 free movies for signing up. IMO 98% of the movies sucked! I wish I could remove some of those movies just because I will never watch them.

How does one get 98% from 5? Is that to say that out of the 5 movies there was only 12 minutes worth watching?

I don't like 4 of the movies out of the 5 and the one I sort of care about isn't all that great (I wouldn't have purchased it on my own and I wont watch it now but I would keep it so if company came over or something...) So if that doesn't break it down for you then yes, I would watch 12 minutes of the movie and get bored and find something else to do like pick up the laptop and complain about how bad VUDU is ;-)
