Yeah, if it's true. Which I don't know because MGM produced the film, even though it's being distributed by Fox. But so where all the other 2012 Bond releases, and they weren't UV. But if MGM gives approval for it to be UV, then UV could soon come to all the Bond films! That would be great! I would buy a few more.

I thought most newer Sony movies came with a uv code. I understand the older movies not because it probably wan't in the contract they signed.

Sony has nothing to do with it. The US distributor is Fox. Sony handles overseas releases.

This is now confirmed that Skyfall is UV. Flixster now has Skyfall on its redemption page: https://redeem.flixster.com/ultraviolet/

I hope Walmart does the pre-sale thing with SkyFall as I would like to get the Vudu copy early but also get the disc.

That seems a bit strange because Amazon has a digital date of 2/5/13

                      http://www.amazon.com/SKYFALL-HD/dp/...ywords=Skyfall

I understand UV and Prime Instant are different, but I'm not sure why they'd have different digital dates.

The Walmart website is showing it for $24.96 for the blu-ray/UV copy.

What the heck man, it's $24.96 on the Wal-Mart website for pre-order and doesn't say anything about a Vudu copy, just Digital Copy, like Amazon. Do you actually have to go into the store for a $6 discount???

                              This was on Blu-Ray.Com forum

"Walmart will be putting out one of their pre-orders for Skyfall soon. It's an empty case as usual with a code for an early Vudu copy (available on 2/5). Also included will be your choice of a Vudu digital copy of Casino Royale or Quantum of Solace."
