Movie least likely to come to D2D or Issue VUDU/UV codes

Trying to decide to spend my credits on

    The Jurassic Park Trilogy
    The Saw Movies
    The Prestige
    Taken
    Daniel Craig 007 Bundle
Silence of the Lamb / Hannibal
Home Alone / Home Alone 2
    The Punisher
    Crash
    Marvel Movies

Prestige or the 007 bundle, IMHO.

Disney's not giving up on Keychest yet, so Prestige is not coming to UV anytime soon.

007 is held by MGM, who isn't a UV member yet even though distributor Fox is and Skyfall is supposed to have a UV copy.

Saw is now UV and will likely be added to D2D within a month or two.

I doubt the Star Wars movies are going to be D2D anytime soon...

          Taken (Theatrical) is UV now
Saw (and most Lionsgate films) is UV now
The Jurassic Park Trilogy is UV (you have to click on the individual movies to see the UV logo in the VUDU trilogy bundle)

These should be D2D in the future.

Star Wars and Avatar will probably never be UV.

I am sure Indiana Jones will not be either.

The saw movies are kind of funny. Some of the Unrated versons are UV some are not. All Theatrical are UV. Not certain what is going on there... but really hoping for some Lionsgate D2D soon... that'll take care of 5 of the saw movies for me and The Mavel Animated movies.

                Terminator 1
                Terminator 2
                Titanic

Vudu only offers Terminator 1 in HD not HDX which is not a good sign. Terminator 1 got a new transfer from the studio for the UK and some other countries but not the US on Blu-ray a couple of months ago.

Titanic was supposed to be UV but was changed at the very last second because a lot the ads from the release week said it was UV but turned out to be iTunes only!!!

I'm guessing Titanic was more likely misinformed advertisers. I don't think it would have been possible to change something like that at the last minute since the movies would have already been sealed and shipped to the stores. Still odd that it wasn't UV since it was Paramount.

I'd say Shame is a good candidate for this thread. It even got shortchanged on an Itunes copy since they don't sell NC17 movies. Are there any NC17 UV movies out there? I know there are unrated ones...

Titanic is for sale on Vudu in HDX only and only for set top boxes not computers.

I have noticed that there are a few titles that have been released by Warner that are not UV Point Break being one of them it just came to Vudu but no UV label.

I think never is such a strong word. When Amazon starts selling UV VOD titles as part of it's Amazon Instant service, and the number of UV users hits 25, 30 million users, then all bets are off. Disney would not be able to ignore the market at that point, and they would come on board.

Disney might go along with Ultra-Violet if Apple made the iTunes Store UV. I do not like Apple especially after they started suing everybody because they can't invent. But Apple has a big following of customers that should make Disney consider Ultra-Violet. When and if Apple makes the iTunes Store UV it will probably work correctly from day one.

I refuse to buy any Disney movies physically or VOD until they go Ultra-Violet.
