Synape Films wants to go VUDU!

Don't know what else to do here, because I've called corporate a few times to no avail.

My company, Synapse Films, would love to have some of our titles up on Vudu, but no one from corporate has answered my emails or phone calls.

We have a huge library of 100+ titles, including Dolph Lundgren's RED SCORPION, revenge thrillers like THE EXTERMINATOR, MANIAC COP and classic horrors like STREET TRASH, EMBODIMENT OF EVIL, FRANKENHOOKER, the BASKET CASE films, etc. all in HD!

I see some Blue Underground titles on here and even some lost classics like CANNIBAL GIRLS...so why won't anyone from Vudu answer my inquiries?

    Regards,

    Don May, Jr.
    President, Synapse Films

Great that you want to have your titles available from VUDU! Are you planning on supporting UltraViolet? If you do happen to get your movies onto VUDU...

It's a possibility. We're exploring a lot of new avenues of distribution these days.

the only e-mail i could find about content from vudu is this.

        partnership@vudu.com

There is no phone number but I would be willing to buy atleast 4 of those films right now and more if it was going to be UV.

I hope you have success with VUDU.

Please don't forget about Redbox and their new streaming service that is starting up soon! I don't know if they are planning to cross over into the same type of service as VUDU or just focus on competing with Netflix.

I've called, and also emailed that particular address... to no avail.

We've been trying to get titles into Redbox for over a year now. I think the problem is our distributor doesn't want to give product away to them for free (and neither do we).

I think you would have some luck getting on vudu if you issue UV rights for your films. Here is the contact info for DECE

lol additionally we would very much like you to be UV...

currently I personally am only buying films that are UV and only buying Blurays that are eligible for D2d... and If I am not mistaken you have the disto rights to the first Maniac Cop (which I need for my bruce campbell collection)...

But anyway good luck getting in touch with whomever you need to on Vudu (and please consider UV)

Re: Synape Films wants to go VUDU!

Thx for the tip. But there are quite a few films up on Vudu that are not available via Ultraviolet. But, we'd be interested in both, as long as the costs involved aren't too counterproductive (we are a super small company).
But, I see things like MANIAC and CANNIBAL GIRLS, etc. up on this service, so I figured our library would also fit right in!
