    Which TV Networks are Ultraviolet

Which TV networks are Ultraviolet? I see that some Blu-ray season on HBO (Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire) can be redeemed via ultraviolet, but they are not on UV if purchased online. Is there any way we can fix this? Are other networks considering adding to ultraviolet? CBS, AMC, Showtime, etc?

Only Tv shows that are UV on Vudu for purchasing are mostly just seasons that were released on blu-ray and/or DVD with UV codes in them (not all are UV are UV on Vudu yet). Some examples are a few Big Bang Theory seasons (CBS), the last House season (FOX), Shameless (Showtime). Hopefully next year there will be a push by studios to get lots more UV for TV purchases like they have been pushing movies.

Strange, it seems Vudu has all the seasons of The Big Bang Theory including the current Season 6? How can they already offer Season 6 when it is not even out on blu-ray? Are they adding the episodes once they air?

Well they get the episodes lots of current shows the day after they air on TV from the studios.

But those shows aren't getting UV enabled until after blu-ray/DVD is released usually.

HBO is very bad about UV. True Blood shows up in my UV library but not on VUDU. Game of thrones shows up on VUDU but not in my UV library. Shameless shows up on Flixster and UV library but not on VUDU. This needs to be changed ASAP and any content that is UV should show up on VUDU and UV library, like movies. As more shows/seasons are released, it will only create more confusion.

The broadcast TV network is not really a good judge of UV support, since they do not necessarily have home video rights too.

ie, The Big Bang Theory is broadcast by CBS, but actually produced and distributed by Warner, not Paramount.

That said, I think it's is primarily Warner distributed series that is UV.

It would be nice if all UV available series would all show up as UV if purchased digitally, that really needs to be fixed, but could be down to Vudu agreements I guess?

You were supposed to redeem each HBO Select show at VUDU and Flixster! This way you get it for VUDU and a UV copy. You really shouldn't have to do it that way but currently HBO shows on VUDU do not support UV. All of my True Blood Seasons and Game of Thrones Season 1 were redeemed this way and I have them on both with no issues.

Still not ideal, like you were stating... Maybe try redeeming the codes again at the places you didn't...
