Re: CinemaNow and Rovi launch beta at home D2D service

I bought some CinemaNow credit on ebay to test out the service. One issue so far, can't convert Blade Runner: The Final Cut (2010 DVD), looks like maybe it will only accept the 2-disc version released in 2007

A lot of dvd's from the list come up either with the "does not support burned disks" or "please insert a vaild disk" errors. Sin City is one of them for me

Maybe it will only accept one of the two pressings for that movie. In 2011 Lionsgate gained distribution rights for the movie, so I'm guessing the previous version would be read as a different disc than Lionsgate's re-release

Re: CinemaNow and Rovi launch beta at home D2D service

Did one. Wizard of Oz but it was only available in SD. Going through a divorce and going to try to D2D any movies She wants to keep and this makes it pretty easy for our dvd copies. Once vudu's version comes out I'll ditch cinemanow since i don't care for it that much.

IDK it seems pretty much useless for me I have tried prolly 20 movies most do not work for one reason or another and they are on the working list. Tried 5 more today and only 2 worked.. Coma, Watchmen don't work either Salt and Drag Me To Hell worked Hope Vudu's d2d at home will work better

Every disc I try that's on the list tells me that that disc is not available for conversion. I'm not taking any more out of my jukebox player, I'm just going to wait for Vudu's home D2D service.

I have done SEVERAL with no problem. The only disc that is on the D2D list that wouldn't work was Jeremiah Johnson. I wonder if Best Buy has the ability to handle that one disck for me like Walmart can do for Vudu.

Still no in-store D2D for Best Buy

If you are consistently getting a 'disc not available for conversion' notitication across all of your discs, you should update your Mac OS to 10.7 or newer. We are working through a 10.6 bug that presents that message consistently on some Macs.

Never said I was using a Mac, this is on windows 7. I have had some work but most do not for various reasons. I have reported it to support several times but no one answers
