That would be alot more likely, at least given that that is a recent technology that lost the format war.

If I were you I would add the movie that you own on HD-DVD as a Blu-ray on Vudu.com and see if the Wal-mart employee notices. They may charge you DVD rates if they wanted to count it as a DVD. YMMV

As untrained as WalMart employees still are on D2D, that'd probably work.

          From personal experience it will.

            Interesting thread.

This is Hollywood. If D2D was some runaway success, they'd follow up with a VHS, Laserdisc, D-VHS, Betamax, whatever sequel.

Oh, and I've D2D'd many HD-DVD's at my local Wal-Mart. Don't recall if I listed them as bluray or DVD.

bluray would be $2. DVD would be $5.

I just want to set the record straight, again. I only speak for myself (and my family). The use of the English word "we" in my post was in reference to my household. It's important keep all words in context. Of course, I guess I was wrong for assuming everyone else would know that I was speaking for my entire household since I control our Vudu, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and other accounts.

I feel like an English teacher here...
