Did not last. After reading your post I log into the newly added VUDU account and see this message:

"Your UltraViolet? Account needs attention. Please click the button below."

    then

"Your UltraViolet? Account link is invalid."

    When I try to re-link:

"The limit for number of connections to this type of Node has already been reached"

Re: UltraViolet Vudu Account Limit - 3

      This is becoming really annoying.

I'm just about to the point to have one of the 2 sub members that have the link attached to their account remove their links and sign into their device under my Vudu account so I can get my constant link back on my account.

So I've been trying to find the limitations of how many devicesyou can have your account attached to? Any one remember for sure?

And if my memory severs me correct I think you can only be streaming at any point in time 3 movies?

Update - I relinked my 4th UV Member's VUDU account a second time and so far it's lasted 2 weeks. When I got the above message "Your UltraViolet? Account link is invalid." UVVU created a new UV account for this 4th VUDU account but I removed the UV account from UVVU and did the 2nd relink.

I believe it is 5 devices and 3 streams.

So I'm at my 5 device limit right now. the problem is my kids can't activate their rokus. Are you saying I can create a sub account in UV that can then get it's own VUDU account and access the movies from my account? that would make this less of a hassle. I have to deactivate/reactivate a device anytime they want to stream.

Re: UltraViolet Vudu Account Limit - 3

As far as UV is concerned then there is a total allowable device limit of 12 set in their terms and conditions. Right now under my own family UV account (5 Members), there are a minimum of SIX devices right now that I know about. (4 other members with each their own playback devices) plus I have both my Xbox 360 and PS3 set up too with it.

The Kids with Rokus need a VUDU account. Then add each Kid as 1 of your UV members. Then the Kids VUDU accounts are linked to your UVVU account.

Re: UltraViolet Vudu Account Limit - 3

When UV says there is a limit of 2 streaming sites per account, does that mean 2 for vudu, 2 for cinemanow, 2 for flixster, ect, or 2 total? I recently unlinked my 5th account and tried to re-link it, and could not. If I delete everything but vudu links to all my accounts, then will I be able to re-link my 5th account?

It's 2 links of each provider per UV account.

                  Example
                  Master User: Vudu Linked
                  Sub user 1: Vudu Linked
Sub user 2: Vudu won't link

But I already have Master and 3 sub accounts all linked to vudu just fine.

You are grandfathered in, your users linked before they changed to the lower limit. If you ever unlink those extras you can't get them relinked. Unless and until UV is forced to reverse this ridiculous limit.

What's the point of having 5 sub-accounts if we can't use them?

I agree 100%. I feel each user (master and subs) should be able to link to the same provider if they need or want to.

I would like to add......should be able to link and maintain that link. And not have to re-link every how many hours or days that they have mysteriously determined.

I'm really floored here. Why am I paying for digital copies of my movies, of which six users total are supposed to be able to share, if all of those users can't actually watch them? I don't care who's fault it is technically, but as far as I'm concerned, VUDU and UVVU are accountable for this issue and should get it immediately resolved.

IMO The HOUSEHOLD itself is NOT "an account" because the account is comprised of the users inside the group...

This is how they think of it:

                                ACCOUNT
                                --Member 1
                                --Member 2
                                --Member 3
                                --Member 4
                                --Member 5
                                --Member 6

This is how I think of it though (and many others)

                                HOUSEHOLD
                                --Account 1 (Member 1)
                                --Account 2 (Member 2)
                                --Account 3 (Member 3)
                                --Account 4 (Member 4)
                                --Account 5 (Member 5)
                                --Account 6 (Member 6)

For them to say that "an account" is the entire UV group.. that's not right... When I log into UVVU.com, I don't log into "HOUSEHOLD ACCOUNT", I log into my "PERSONAL ACCOUNT" (Member 1). Since I log into my PERSONAL ACCOUNT, one would think that THAT would be classified as an account, not the un-log-in-able "HOUSEHOLD". Think about it, only members of a group can change the groups attributes. Each member being an account. The group... should NOT be what is controlling limitations as that is BS
