You are correct, all D2D titles are UV. Do you have examples of some that are not?

Meet the Parents and Walk the Line Extended Cut both D2D .

I've had two movies that Vudu does not say is UV show up on Vudu after I took it to Walmart. The Watchmen Director's Cut and Meet the Parents. If you log out of Vudu and look at it there is no UV symbol, but it's on the Vudu D2D search engine. Once I took it in the UV symbol appeared on my movies list. The Watchmen Director's Cut went into my Ultraviolet locker but Meet the Parents did not.

I just D2D Taken Extended Edition and some other movies at Walmart. When I got home my other movies showed up in my Ultra-Violet locker but not Taken. Luckily my Walmart ran out of ink so they didn't get stamped so I can go again and choose the theatrical version if I want rest of my Ultra-Violet group to have it.

You shouldn't have to pay for it again. Did you pay for Taken the first time?

I brought my blu-ray of Taken Extended Edition to Wal-mart and paid $2 to copy it into my Vudu and Ultra-Violet account.

To me, it's irrelevaent whether the disc was stamped ot not. I don't know how you go about proving you paid for it, but didn't get it. Does your invoice (not the list you printed and gave to Walmart) show you paid for it?

I kept the print out that I printed from vudu.com with the order sticker on it and the register receipt.

I couldn't rememeber where I posted this thread. hahaha!!

yes I got the unrated versions of each and that's why they aren't UV. I wish they would just make everything UV from the studios that support UV. I understand not including stuff from Disney but Fox supports UV so why not everything from Fox be UV compatible?

Maybe UV availability goes beyond which studio a movie comes from.

Here is the response I got from "customer service" when I D2D Taken Extended Edition and it didn't show up in my Ultra-Violet account with the other movies I D2D at the same time.
"Thank you for contacting VUDU Customer Care.
I am sorry that your title did not tranfer to Ultraviolet. When you convert movies using disc to digital there is not guarantee they will be available on anything except for VUDU.
To check if the titles will just select the movie info page for the specific title. On there if you see the small UV symbol under synopsis then it will transfer. This title is not eligible for transfer into Ultraviolet.
If you have any other questions or concerns please be sure to get back to us.
                      Have a great day.

                      Best regards,

                      David

Then when you go to http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html this is on the page "How much does it cost to convert a DVD or Blu-ray? disc to digital and add it to my UltraViolet? and VUDU account?"

It seems that some extended edition movies are not available to transfer to UV. I'll keep you guys posted on any new information.

Re: disc to digital uv compatible?

Is there a way Vudu could add the theatrical version of the movie to our Vudu account, so it will be UV compatible, without going to Wal-mart and hoping someone is there that is familiar with the process?
