Where did you get your Blu-Ray's and where did you redeem the code.

As I mentioned I got mine from CostCo ($35 - included digital copies PLUS $8 in Fandango movie move). I promptly redeemed on Universal for UV and iTunes. I Got HDX in my UV locker (and Vudu) and HD in iTunes. Needless to say I was surprised as I have the last box set which only gave iTunes and only SD at that. That box set offer only expired in December.

Did you redeem through Universal or Vudu ?

When I redeemed through Universal if took some a day for it to show up in Vudu. Even at that one of the three movies took two days.

As did I. Got tired of waiting. Bought the new one to get UV copies and got rid of the old one. With the sale price and what I got for the $8 cash coupon on ebay I broke even with free UV. Woo Hoo.

I can also confirm the UV codes for The Lost World and Jurassic Park III from the Blu-rays are showing up on VUDU as SD copies. The first Jurassic Park is showing up correctly as HDX. All of them were purchases at Best Buy.

Not my experience though. Bought the new trilogy just released this month and redeemed in UV through Universal website. ALL THREE movies are appearing in Vudu account as HDX and have been that way since I got the movies last week.

No one else has confirmed if they redeemed through Universal or Vudu. All I can say is when I redeemed through Universal I ended up with HDX with Vudu and no problems.

As a rule I redeem through the studio website, not Vudu, unless the redeem thread says otherwise. In more cases than not movies are delayed in coming up on Vudu if redeemed through studio, however, I've gotten more after the fact upgrades through studio redemption than through Vudu. Vudu is by sure easier to redeem than going through multiple studios but they often don't since to have the correct links with the studios.

                    Re: Jurassic Park

I redeemed through the studio site and got SD copies for the 2 sequels. And I'm not the only one. At least one other person reported this over at Blu-ray.com. This is for the new individual releases that just came out today, not the trilogy set. So this is likely a widespread issue that has to be corrected on VUDU or Universal's end.

                        Re: Jurassic Park

Do you get one code for all of movies or is it individual codes on one piece of paper because all I see on Universal's website is all of the movies individually? I am thinking is picking it up at Best Buy using some reward zone certificates.

The individual releases that came out today each have their own code. Just be warned that the individual Blu-ray releases of Lost World and JPIII are being redeemed on VUDU as SD and not HDX. Jurassic Park is showing up HDX so that one's fine.

Thanks for the warning about Lost World and JP3. I am planning on getting the Trilogy.

I purchased all three individual titles today, and it appears that alot of the information given so far has been conflicting. When redeeming on the Universal Digital Copy site, make sure to select Universal, not Flixster or Vudu to get the HD copy. If you select Universal, the UV HDX copy will show up in your Vudu, Flixster, and Cinemanow libraries. I tested this on all three, and it worked as it should. The 3 Movies also redeem in HD on iTunes with extras as well.

                                Re: Jurassic Park

Well that needs to be fixed. Every Universal digital copy from a recent Blu-ray release that I've redeemed off their site has shown up as HDX when I use the VUDU option. Older catalog titles were a tossup, I'll admit that(those 100th Anniversary releases for example routinely showed up as SD). But this is the first time in recent memory that it's happened.
