    Re: Jurassic Park

It's completely asinine that these are D2D now. I JUST bought the trilogy in late December, since it seemed digital copy was the only option at that time, so I wanted to own it before the redemption date expired, only to be screwed over by changing gears to UV. Lame, at least give us the D2D option.

I redeemed today on Vudu and JP2 and JP3 both redeemed incorrectly as SD.

Universal has been known to give new UV codes for old iTunes codes. I want to try it with the Jurassic Park Blu-ray trilogy but first need to find my code as it is missing from my packaging. You just need to put in a ticket with their digital copy support.

          Re: Jurassic Park

My Jurassic Park 2 and 3 did not automatically upgrade on the 26th as was suggested when I found out 3 weeks ago that my UV redemption through VUDU yielded SD versions, but they did make good on their promise to upgrade my versions if I called in and had them do it manually.

          Way to go VUDU!

I have my ticket with the 3 original codes. You think if I call them, they'll supply new ones for UV?

I guess if they have a number to call perhaps. I have only heard of people doing it through the ticketing procedure.

Is there a link or FAQ about this "ticketing procedure?" Who are we to contact, Universal or VUDU?

Based on my personal experience Universal seems to provide SD over HDX though, so sigh.

                    Re: Jurassic Park

Well after making a bit of progress (or so I thought) with VUDU customer care at the beginning of the week, I have not heard any updates from them in almost 3 days, and my 2 movies are still SD in my library.
So much for the excellent customer service...

Is this still an issue now? If I do pick up these films on blu-ray, where should I redeem to be sure I get HD? Universal or Vudu?

                        Edit:
Checked with VUDU over the phone before redeeming my codes, and it seems they fixed it. My codes both redeemed as HD/HDX without issue.

VUDU has finally fixed the Lost World & JPIII to finally be HDX for me.

                            Re: Jurassic Park

In this case contacting VUDU Customer Care should be enough to get an upgrade if your account shows you purchased the correct version that gives the HDX copies......
