That's weird. I am home and will try to install on my iMac.

I have version 1.7.1.153 too and it does have D2D. It recognized the 4 discs that I tried, but none were available for conversion.

Clunky software doesn't even have the functionality to update itself!

It's weird that some of that version has the button and some don't. What operating system are you on?

The Mac version I have (without D2D) is 1.4.1.76. No button. Where does it appear on the versions that have it?

Re: Flixster has Disc to Digital Beta

No button on a Windows 8 laptop / 64 bit Intel processor. Might it be AMD only? I would be interested in hearing the configurations of computers showing the D2D tab.

Yes. It'd be great if someone who has access to a working version could post thier stats and maybe a screen shot. At this point I'm actually hoping vudu delays thier software so it doesn't have the same cinemanow and flixster problems.

Well, if they are all going to have the same problems, I wish Vudu would just go ahead and launch it. I finally broke down and got the CinemaNow app running on one of my old WinXP boxes, and added my first D2D movie this morning just to check that it works...but I'd much rather give Vudu my money.

The installer file is pointing to whatever version they have on their server. They pulled this new version for the Disc-to-Digital for whatever reason...

I don't think Vudu will be using Rovi from what I understand as it will be working with Blu-Rays at launch and Rovi barely works with dvd's lol

Re: Flixster has Disc to Digital Beta

I went today to Walmart and took 25 of my Fox and Lionsgate blu rays to convert. I was so happy when I saw the guy behind the counter because he does it so quick. He's the only guy at my local walmart who knows how to do it. These home services seemed like a good idea, but I guess I'm just too impatient to wait for them to get out of Beta. I wonder if flixster did not mean to release that yesterday? It seems strange they removed it so fast and didn't even bother changing the release number.

That would be great news if it accepted Blu rays, just bought this external Blu ray drive and tried to use it with cinema now and they didn't recognize any blu ray, I thought Blu rays were allowed, Guess not. Cinema Now Blows........C'mon VUDU make it happen soon
