Batman & Superman BD's still phucked for D2D. Also Universal Hitchcock & Monster collection not working. I also redeemed LOTR trilogy theatrical before, but I also want the extended trilogy to redeem now but it won't let me. I give up.

I tried to redeem tropic thunder, didn't work. It may be because I used the Unrated Director's cut and the D2D states the theatrical version. I feel like it should let me unlock the theatrical.

        Am I wrong?

Also Taken redeems as the Marine.

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

          Hi,

I've also had significant issues with Vudu's At Home Disc to Digital beta project. It's of significant concern since they have $40 of my money for which I received premium "HDX" product that is inferior to the DVDs that I already have. Since it is a beta, I'm sympathetic as long as they refund my money promptly. Also, there were some DVD conversions for which I seem to have purchased high quality digital rights and I think I'm happy with (I haven't fully watched these movies yet).

First the problems: Eight of the DVD for which I tried to buy the Vudu HDX digital rights actually have simple stereo sound only. This is despite the HDX product being advertised as "7.1" and the DVDs generally already having Dolby Digital 5.1 (might not be true for Little Shop of Horrors). This is totally unacceptable as I view I paid for upgrades to HDX, but actually ended up with a product that I feel is inferior to my existing DVDs. I would rather watch my existing DVDs than these supposed "HDX" versions. The movies for which this was an issue are as follows:

Harry Porter and the Sorcerer's Stone
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring
          A Christmas Story
          Batman Begins
          Little Shop of Horrors
          Sixteen Candles
          Dr. Zhivago

It is my belief that if a HDX product doesn't have 7.1 audio, this should be clearly highlighted prior to when the purchase is made; this wasn't the case. I have put in a request for refund for these movie upgrades...I'll be very disappointed and lose faith in Vudu if they don't come through with the refunds very promptly.

Please note that there were 8 other DVD movies that I converted/upgraded to HDX that seem to have better than just stereo audio. Based on my limited viewing, I think I'm going to be happy with these others. They include the 2nd and 3rd LOTR movies, Harry Potter movies 3-6, School of Rock, and Caroline.

Movies that couldn't be converted/upgraded due to lack of the appropriate digital rights include:
          Willow
          The Sure Thing
          Saving Private Ryan
          Blazing Saddles
Bridge Over The River Kuai (not available in HD so I didn't convert)

Hopefully, Vudu will treat their customers right and fully correct the problem quickly or provide a quick refund.

Agree and I would go one step further. I'd like to also see a list of titles that are still in the queue and they're still working on.

Anyone know how they manually verify the discs and what's involved in that process?

LOTR extended trilogy Blu Ray is not on the list, but the DVDs are. Not sure which you have. I tried the Blu rays a dozen different times before someone else pointed this out to me. The disc to digital page had the BluRay art work before and that is what confused me. They have recently changed to the DVD art work for the extended editions.

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

I just purchased the movie "Next" using the Disc to Digital Home version and when I inserted the blu-ray disk, the only option was "HDX". After the purchase I went to the "My Video" section and the movie showed up but only in "SD". I called customer service and they said they were not offering refunds on the "BETA" program. I asked to speak with the supervisor and then she offered a $3.99 credit on my account. I'm surprised because in the past I would have no problems getting a refund. Also, be very careful before getting any movie on the HOME D2D because even though the option might say it's "HDX", the movie might only be available in "SD". Learned my lesson for next time.

Tried to convert The Hangover Unrated, it is recognized instead (from Blu-ray or the DVD copy that I also have) only as Theatrical. I see that the Unrated version is available for rent/purchase, but it apparently isn't available for conversion at this time.

mars attacks dvd, rango BR, and failure to launch dvd have all had to be redeemed in store or on cinemanow.

I see that there was a new download to d2d Vudu To Go program today. What changes were made? I see nothing different and the same discs that I am having trouble converting are still not able to be identified. Just curious.

I'm guessing nothing to do with D2D since it updated on my Mac also and there's no D2D on that one.

There are bug fixes for movie UI and not really related to D2D so I did not post anything.

We are doing another batch of manually verification now. When the update is done, I will post here. Probably that's something you would like to know.

                          Thanks,

Will the update finally show my Breaking Bad Bundle? Give us the ability to search/sort through our movies/tv shows?

Are you talking about Breaking Bad the TV series?
It seems not to be in the D2D list.

Search/sort support is not in the next upgrade.

Yes the TV show. I purchased the Breaking Bad Bundle from Vudu and its not showing up under "My Purchases"
Its the one item that has been missing (for me) from vudu2go purchases page from day one.
