Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

I find it odd that Tom and Jerry and the Wizard of Oz: The Original Movie [Blu-ray] (2011) is only available in SD in D2D although you can rent and purchase it on Vudu in HDX.

Iron Man 2 might not be a misidentified disc. Sometimes when the studios release a single disc version of a set they just use the same disc and don't include the extra discs. The Hunger Games is a good example of different sets using the same Disc (Feature Film) Disc 1.

        Ben-Hur comes up:

        "Ben-Hur [50th Anniversary: Ultimate Collector's Edition] [French] [Blu-ray] - BLURAY"

(I prefer Ben-Hur to be in English)

The Sound of Music comes up:

"The Sound of Music (Sing-Along Edition) [Blu-ray] - BLURAY"

Regarding Predator 2, did you see the suggestion option (Not my disc)? If you don't even see that box, GN told us it's rental/commercial disc and not eligible for conversion.

            Thanks,

Do you see the suggestion box for the movies? If not GN flagged it as rental/commercial. Please confirm with your history of acquisition so we can see what could go wrong.

Can you give me the error string? We don't have the DVD with us to see the issue.

It might have detected as French (please check the region after the disc detection). However the movie you will get is the English one.

Die Hard Five Star Collection DVD

                    Both are coming up

There was a problem while verifying this disc.

Please try again later or contact Customer Care.

I thought I read that Loved Ones was being fixed?

How do I make sure I have the most up to date Database?

The database goes out once a day and the one we care about was out on Sat 10:45AM. In other words, you got the database.

I'm collecting the remaining issue so the engineering can take a look.
I would suggest to try again when you see "Please try again". If you see it couple of times then there is a chance that we have issue to read the disc TOC. That is the worse case as we can't collect the TOC and you can't even enter suggestion for us to map.

                      Thanks,
                      LLN

I had the please try again multiple times for The Order - DVD. However I was able to successfully convert that title using Flixster.

I purchased it and it did come up English. Thank you.

FYI here is how it came up:

                            The detection page:

                            Action / Drama / Adventure
                            222 min / NR
                            1959 Warner Bros.
                            English
                            [No-Region : Encrypted]

                            Order Summary

                            Ben-Hur [50th Anniversary: Ultimate Collector's Edition] [French] [Blu-ray] - BLURAY

Also on, Sound of Music, if purchased, will it be the regular version, or as a sing-a-long version as the software detects?

We have only 1 Ben Hur English so I can be certain that you would get the English version. We do have 2 versions for the Sound of Music so it's very likely that you will get the sing-a-long version.
I have reported this issue and hopefully it can be fixed in the next round.

The following titles are available from D2D @ Walmart but the D2D @ Home app gives the following error:

                                Bite the Bullet (Blu-ray) (1975)
                                Enemy Mine (Blu-ray) (1985)
Journey to the Center of the Earth (Blu-ray) (1959)
                                Our Man Flint (Blu-ray) (1965)

This disc is not eligible for Disc to Digital, please insert another disc or try again later.

The following titles are available for redemption in HDX with the DVD but not the Blu-ray isn't an available option (why?)

As Good As It Gets (Blu-ray) (1997)
                                Christine (Blu-ray) (1983)
                                Mysterious Island (Blu-ray) (1961)
