That's hilarious, because I just tried to D2D the film ULTRAVIOLET, which came up as HELLBOY! So, if you want HELLBOY, I guess that's the disc you'll need. LOL

Predator: Ultimate Hunter DVD is identified but when you select the HDX version it says that there is an issue selecting the version (HD/SD which you want)

Eraser DVD Disc can't be identified.

Hmmm. I just tried Ultraviolet and it identified correctly. The one time I wanted a disc to be screwed up.

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL From United Kingdom

Hi, I'm new to VUDU and UV but have just registered 'The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey'.
I am finding it difficult getting any UV player working on any device other than a PC. VUDU not available here on PS3 or Samsung Smart TV, iPad accesses VUDU via Safari and shows my collection OK but hangs on streaming. I downloaded VUDU At Home Beta to try online DISC TO DIGITAL as we have no Walmarts here - 'There was a communication error while verifying this disc. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and try again.' is all I get with every Blu-Ray or DVD I insert!
.....getting frustrated - why do I live in UK?

Interesting! Which version do you have? Mine is a used copy of the PG-13 Theatrical Cut, so must be specific to that version.

I'm guess we still have a LONGGGGGGG time before this ever get's out of beta, let alone expands beyond Windows.

If I can just get Superman The Movie DVD to work! The DVD will only redeem as SD and there is no HDX option, BD discs won't read. I'm willing to pay $5 for it even tho I have multiple Blu-Ray releases. I paid $5ea for II & III to HDX even tho I had the Blu-Ray of those too. I'm a die hard Superman fan and will be grateful if I can get it to HDX, then we're rollin'.

(PS- Also I'll be very very very grateful if Superman IV is released as HDX on Vudu as well, I know most people consider it a piece of crap, but I found it to be a bonafide cult classic, it ruled)

                            Please fix. Thank you.

Yep, Got a major bug & bottle neck here. I won't recognize unrated versions, and if you do manual input it has to contact vudu and get back to you to confirm that it is the right disc, or "visit their conveniently located stores" Guess What?! It's not convenient if I have to wait on vudu to reply and confirm my discs or go to the store for something I can do at my computer.

There are plenty of other services out there that can do disc-to-digital better and are ultraviolet compatible. Unfortunately I'm going to switch away from vudu because they can't seem to get their act together on D2D or fixing corrupted content.

Actually Vudu is the best and has the biggest library of discs available for conversion. But I do use Cinemanow on occasion or Flixster rarely. Also Vudu is the only one that will convert Blu Rays.

But that's the great thing about UV, the cross provider compatibility!
