For those of you that have tried the VuduToGo application and it doesn't identify your movie but asks you to type it in. How are we eventually going to get notified when it is available? It says something like, "We are in the process of identifying this disk" but it never says whether we'll be notified once the movie is working correctly? Can a forum moderator check on this for us and let us know?

That happened to me on the blu ray. I had the DVD as well and it worked for TF 1. I had to pay more for the HDX upgrade, but it did recongnize the DVD as the correct title. Same thing happens for my Bourne movies. Bourne Identity Blu ray is fine. Bourne Supremacy Blu ray reads as Bourne Identity. The DVD reads correctly. Bourne Ultimatum Blu ray reads as Bourne Identity. DVD reads fine. This is causing me unnecessary extra expense since I should be able to go straight to HDX for $2 ($1 with the discount).

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

I too have the same problem with Transformers 1, althought the other 2 show just fine. I've noticed that I have way more problems with blu ray discs then I do with normal DVD's on the average. The only DVD's that don't indentify are ones that are not UV yet (at leaset with what I've done).
I find it odd that they are still having problems as well is some disks that have been complained about for some time (Aliens quadrilogy, Start Trek movies, directors/extended cuts vs theatrical like Daredevil, Date Night) - I think an update from VUDU as to why they are taking longer to validate. For my blu rays I'm down to just a few that are currently UV but they all fall under these issues (I won't do sequals until I can do all of them, like the transformers movies).

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

Okay... I tried to get VUDU to go to recognize the first two Harry Potter movies (Blu-rays) from the First Five Years Collection (Limited Edition Gift Set 2007) and they refuse to identify - the other discs did identify. I filled out the form in VUDU to go and didn't hear back. So then I wrote to customer support and they asked me to uninstall the VUDU to go program and reinstall it in a particular manner using links provided. Did that and discs still not recognized. Continued with instructions and created the info file for my computer and sent that in June 6th. No word back on that so I wrote again and was directed here. Hopefully this is where the people working on this get the information and fix the problems. I also have tried to get the program to recognize the Extended Versions of Lord of the Rings trilogy. They all pop up as LOTR: The Return of the King regular version. Any help appreciated.

Since this promotion, I have been trying to add a lot of my blu-rays that I didn't think I would need on vudu. Here are a few that haven't worked for me.

              Fern Gully (Not Identified)
              Ghostbusters (Not Identified)
The Karate Kid 2010 (Not Identified)
Final Fantasy: Advant Children (Not Identified)
              Avatar: Blu (Indentified as DVD)
The Sound of Music (Identified as Sing A Long Edition)

Family Favorites Collection with Cloack and Dagger, The Wizard, Cop and a Half, King Ralph, Matinee, Sgt. Bilko, Ghost Dad, ED, A Simple Wish, The Borrowers. Comes with a UV code for Sgt. Bilko. PLEASE fix this one. I want 8 of these X 2.50 = 20.00 from me.

Didn't know about Avatar until now. I popped in my 3D panasonic freebie disc and it read just fine! Thanks

UV doesn't necessarily mean that it's D2D, right? So why is this posted on this thread?

Re: VUDU AT HOME: DISC-TO-DIGITAL Bugs?

Most of the titles on that list are both UV and D2D.

But, generally speaking, lujan's question raises a valid point. Just because something is UV that doesn't always mean it is necessarily D2D eligible.

                        I usually go here: http://www.vudu.com/disc_to_digital.html
To check the database first. I save a bookmark on my smartphone so I can check a title when I'm at a garage sale, flea market, or bargain basement bin at a store.

And sometimes, it's also worth mentioning, that even if it's on that database, it doesn't actually work via D2D@Home.

These are early days in the program... we'll get there, one day. In the meantime, I'm stocking up at 50% prices!

I contacted support by phone, when I informed them it was processed through the VUDU To Go app they submitted the case to engineering. I didn't send any proof. I guess they may have verified what I see online the Blu-ray is listed as Director's Cut, they don't sell a theatrical only version on Blu-ray.

I am still trying to figure out how to get past the disc read error. This is getting frustrating and I have gotten 0 help from Vudu beyond the usual stuff about ISO software. I don't have any! I get this error on two computers and it is VERY frustrating to not be able to use the service without having to go to the store.

If anyone has other ideas that might work for fixing this issue, shoot me a PM so the replies do not get lost in this huge thread.
