    MGM Titles...Where art thou?

    Been discussed.
James Bond Pre-order MGM and sitting in my UV locker.
Where are we on them coming on board with D2D

Many of us are waiting patiently, but some kind of update would really be nice from VuDu moderator rep. How often does support look at these forums?

Support look through the forum pretty regular, whether they are able to discuss something of this nature is another matter..

There's another upcoming Ultraviolet MGM title on the horizon:

      March 5, 2013
      Red Dawn (MGM) (BD+DVD+DC+UV)

        Re: MGM Titles...Where art thou?

Fortunately Vudu has plenty of MGM titles up already so when MGM goes UV, we'll hopefully have plenty of titles to choose from as well on the Disc-to-Digital list.

Surprisingly, A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS and FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE are already up on Vudu but not THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY. Go figure.

I hope we get some good news Monday night/Tuesday morning...

              Re: MGM Titles...Where art thou?

Don't forget that when Lionsgate finally went UV with The Hunger Games, it took them a little time to roll out more of their titles in UV. I don't think we'll see a bunch of MGM titles pop up as UV on the same day that Skyfall comes out. I think what we'll see is them slowly being added over the course of a couple of weeks.

Also remember, all Lionsgate titles are still not available as D2D. There are a good amount that are, but a lot still aren't. I don't think we'll magically see MGM dive in with both feet and make everything available this week. Expect this to be a slow roll out. Just my opinion...

I'm just hoping that james bond eventually gets there.

Looks like another week has come and gone with no new D2D titles, or at least none that I have.

Yeah, I was really hoping we'd have some news this morning... Oh, well. Plenty of other fish to fry. SKYFALL and the new RED DAWN are Ultraviolet. At least we know something is changing with MGM.
