    Parental Control Doesn't work!

Why is it that vudu does not fully support parental controls built into the UltraViolet system? I have set one UV sub-account to disable R rated films, and also unrated films. The unrated films don't show up on the secondary vudu account, but the R rated films do? I wish vudu would allow profiles for different profiles for family members, like M-Go is set to do when it launches!

Not sure I can help, but maybe you can clarify? Are you saying parental controls you set on the Ultraviolet site don't work on VUDU? If so, those PCs are specific to the UV site - VUDU has its own parental control settings.

Why would the UV parental controls only apply to that site? People don't watch movies on uvvu.com so that doesn't make sense. And if vudu has it's own parental control, how do I activate it. I haven't seen it in any settings

For VUDU's settings you can only set parental controls on the device you use, not the website.

As for UV's parental controls, it may be intended for future use? I'm not sure, just guessing. Maybe Jake has a better answer?

I can tell you that the Flixster Android app respects the parental controls configured within UltraViolet, but the VUDU Android app ignores those UV parental controls. Obviously, it would be nice if the VUDU app respected them as well.

In the mean time, where are the VUDU parental controls within the Android app? If I am not just missing them, and they don't exist, and VUDU doesn't respect the UV parental controls, then there are no parental controls in Android, correct?

            Thanks in advance!

What if the device you use is the PC!!! Then where are the Parental controls. Why not incorporate Parental controls into the account. That way you do not have to setup Parental controls on all of your devices. Sounds like lazy programers.

For Ultraviolet movies Cinemanow has parental controls that work on the web site and for their iOS app. 90+% of your Vudu ultraviolet movies should be playable on a Cinemanow account linked to your Ultraviolet account. If you go this route the rating setting on the PC is carried over to the iOS app, you just have to plug in the password to enable the parental controls. Obviously this route won't work for Disney and other non UV movies.
