Game of Thrones Season 2 UV on VUDU?

So I accidentally opted for the VUDU copy of Game of Thrones Season 2. I really wanted the UV and thought that by redeeming through VUDU like I have done with all my previous codes that I would get the UV copy.

I just now noticed/realized that I got the VUDU copy instead. Will this copy ever turn into a UV copy? If the answer is no, is there a way to get my code back so that I may redeem it on Flixster as I really wanted the UV copy?

I have no problems with keeping the VUDU copy if I know that it will for sure turn into a UV copy some day. Otherwise I would like my code back if possible so that I may redeem through Flixster.

P.S. How come HBO shows do not show up on VUDU as UV enabled? I have True Blood Season 4 UV copy through flixster but it does not show up on VUDU.

You can redeem the same code on Flixster.

Is Vudu handling S.2 different than S.1? I have S.1 in my UV locker and I'm not sure if I redeemed in Vudu or Flixster but I have it available in Vudu.

Can someone clarify the GoT redemption options?

I think i read if you redeem on Vudu then its not UV but if you redeem through flixster it is UV but if you redeem on itunes first you dont get flixster or vudu. Is this correct?

Is this the same for season 1?

I think the hbo site lets you choose UV and one other option. So definitely UV + Vudu or UV + Itunes regardless of order of redemption. I redeemed via vudu, then flixster then Itunes and it worked for all 3. Not sure if Itunes first would cause any problems, but it should still at least let you do the UV part through flixster as advertised.

I hate that HBO series like Game of Thrones and Boardwalk Empire are not really fully Ultraviolet. All of your UV Members will be restricted to viewing them only thru a PC instead of on a VUDU app. Flixster needs an A/V application for Smart TV's and Blu-ray players ASAP!

                  Hello Fungmanhin,

Once we link the content for UV, it should automatically push to your account.

We're still currently waiting for HBO to give us the correct ALID so we can make that happen.

So if you redeemed Game of Thrones Season 2 through the Ultraviolet with Flixster option, you are saying it will become available on Vudu at some point in the "near" future? Upon seeing the Ultraviolet portion, I thought it was redundant using Vudu to redeem it as well so allowed it to goto my iTunes account. If I had known it was one or the other, I would have much rather used Vudu since it is across all my devices(TV, Xbox, PS3, Tablet, et al).

Thank you for the information, I thought I did something wrong as well. I choose Just the UV option for Flixster, and not directly to VUDU. So that it was on my UV locker. I see it in my UV locker but not on my Cinemanow or VUdu accounts. (dont expect for cinemanow to do anything really.)

I didnt want to have to add the info again.

I can't really say in the "near" future because i'm not sure how long we will be waiting for the information.

So is GoT S1 and S2 HDX? The way i'm reading this is

                          Redemption order:
                          1. Flixster --> gives UV but only playable via flixster which is SD
                          2. Vudu --> not UV and only playable for redeemer in HDX
                          3. itunes --> SD

And do you go through HBO or the individual sites to redeem? Why does Vudu offer a UV redemption page for S2 but it not really be there or not be UV?

I am also having this issue. I can see GoT S2 in my Flixster account, and I chose Vudu (of course!) on the HBO site when I redeemed it, but that didn't seem to do anything. HBO is making redeeming digital copies a huge pain in the ***. I wish I could just do it through Vudu.

Well, my wife and I were hoping to start watching this tonight while my daughter was at a rehearsal, but it's still not resolved. I filed a ticket with HBO, and I hope everyone else who is waiting will do the same. (Go to the redemption page, click on one of the FAQ links at the very bottom, then scroll to the bottom of the FAQ to find the link to contact them.)
