I wouldn't think of getting any of these in packaged media form just to then store them in the boxes in the garage. That wouldn't make sense. Even if I can save a dollar or two, it is easier to just EST purchase them.
Isn't that the crazy thing? It is cheaper to buy a movie and D2D the item rather than buy it EST.

...only by a few dollars. I don't mind paying for the convenience of in-home electronic purchases, not having to needlessly add to my physical collection being stored, not having to waist time doing the hunt-n-shop exercise and add shipping, and then add D2D fees, just to save $1.73 or whatever.

Other people feel differently about it, but I just find it easy to EST from now on.

Ah, Sucker Punch. Good movie. Sadly Vudu only offers the Theatrical Cut, so I've been holding off on doing D2D for it. The Extended Cut is so much better.

You know, you are not the first person who has mentioned this to me as of late.

A friend of mine has the extended cut and he too said it was way better.

I don't think I am going to wait for my pie-in-the-sky and instead I am going to get my sucker punch fix in theatrical.

A katanna wielding chick in a mini skirt al la "Blood: The Last Vampire". Yes, thank you.

I will take one of those please.

I found it in the $7.88 Bluray bin at WalMart w/UV redemption.

It redeemed into HDX, but just the theatrical version. The Bluray is the EXT-Cut.

I think I will cough up the $2.00 to get the extended cut into my Vudu library to complement the theatrical cut I got free with the purchase.

I will be looking out for the EXT-Cut to become available via D2D along with you.

Yet another title to snipe for...

Nice! I'm glad you were able to get such a good deal on it!

Have you had a chance to watch it yet?

...Last night. It was a delight. For sure a title best seen in HDX. The CGI was magnificent.

Also, I enjoyed the "Girl-Power" theme. That too was refreshing.

Considering we have a trend of 66% and increasing of those who get a college diploma put in their hands being women, It is inevitable that we will start to see more films like this where women and girls are portrayed in commanding roles. The Disney/Pixar movie "Brave" is another in recent times in this new portrayal of women & girls in commanding roles.

Soon, it will be the norm instead of the exception.

I for one, welcome the change

                  take care...
