Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy UV

    https://redeem.flixster.com/ultravio...7-6840D02447CE

Where can I find this set? Anyone see it in stores? Is it the existing SKU in stores but now with a UV code?

It says the UV copy is the theatrical version:
"Redemption valid in the United States only and is not compatible with iTunes. UltraViolet movie includes theatrical version only."

I'd only want the Extended Edition. iTunes does have the Extended Edition. I do wish the camps would get their act together, there's money to be made.

It does appear UV redeemable on Vudu, and is for sale digitally with UV. It just a matter of finding the set with the codes.
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (Extended Editions)

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (Extended Edition)
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (Extended Edition)

That disclaimer is on every redemption page, including Unrated and Uncut Editions. There is a new Blu-ray SKU of the Extended Edition Trilogy with UV. It could be a Walmart exclusive or maybe that $49.99 set at Best Buy next week. I'm going to Walmart tomorrow, so will check.

My guess would be Walmart. I was just there are they have the DVD set with the UV codes. I did not see the Blu Ray sets.

            D:<

This is the main reason I've been trying to get a Blu-ray drive working with VuduToGo. I wanted to get the LoTR Extended trilogy in HDX on Vudu for $6. I bought my wife the box set from Amazon in Dec. 2011. It came with "digital copies", which meant iTunes. I knew enough to redeem the codes, but I've never watched any of them (or any video, really) on iTunes.

Dammit - my local Walmart has Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Blu-ray - Extended for about $50 but it doesn't come with the digital copies.

Hoping a cheaper set without all the bonus material but with extended cuts similar to Lord of the Rings - Blu-ray Theatrical eventually makes it to the shelves.

I bought individual releases of the LOTR EEs on Blu-ray from CostCo last week and those came with UV copies of the EE for each film.

It seems that right now, only theatrical versions of these films are available for D2D on Blu-ray.

Anyone have luck getting the EE on UV with D2D? I'd buy them on VUDU if I could use gift cards, but not with cash.

I purchased them all on CinemaNow using gift cards I got for less, but only the SD EE are UV so my HD EE's just sit in CN for now >_< Idk why CN doesn't enable UV for the HD versions.

                        Ohhhh kay.

I bought the extended editions at Costco, went to the extended versions at vudu, selected redeem, entered codes and got the extended version, not the standard version other people seem to be getting. Am I just the lucky one.

I have the Extended Editions on Blu-ray already. I still don't see them on VUDU D2D. I do see the DVD Extended editions, and you can get the HD version upgrade, so I'm not sure why the Blu-ray Extended Editions are not available for D2D. Is it a glitch or a licensing issue?

It could quite possibly be a glitch. Meet The Parents is D2D eligible but it's not a UV title (which I quickly did just in case). Is this a glitch? As for being a licensing issue, if this is the case it would be likely due to money as this makes no sense because HD upgrade is available. I'm still waiting it will save me $9.

I got the extended versions too off of the Costco Blu-rays. So I don't think it's a glitch. I think that's what those codes are supposed to redeem.
