Cowboys & Aliens UltraViolet copy not showing in Vudu

My UV copy of Cowboys and Aliens is not showing up in my Vudu account.

I had my UltraViolet copy before it was available on Vudu, but it is now available, but not showing up. The odd thing is that if I look it up from the 'Search' box, I do not see the 'UV' logo. However, it does show up for 'Disc to Digital'

Actually, it is not available now. It is coming soon. Mar 26 to be exact. If you have a UV movie that is not in vudu's catalog, it won't show up until it is added. Some titles are available on D2D before they are available for purchase. Such is also the case with Anchorman and Sinbad, and several other films that are on the coming soon page.

Is the OP referring to the theatrical or the Extended Edition. The theatrical version is currently available and does have the UV logo associated with it. That version was redeemable through UV as of last year.

Neither version is available in the store right now. It was available on vudu in the past, so if you purchased it during that time, then you will have it in your account. If you redeemed it on flixster or purchased it from another retailer, it will not transfer to vudu until the 26th.

Here's something interesting ... I already had the theatrical version that was redeemed using the UV code from the Extended Edition Blu-ray last year. I just used the disc to purchase the Extended Edition version with the D2D @ Home software and it currently shows up on my list as being available now with the UV logo.

The link is the same as previously posted however if I click on the link as normal it doesn't show the UV logo but if I click on it through My Vudu it shows the UV logo.

I have Cowboys and Aliens in my UV account (and on Flixster). I figured when Vudu added this file this week it would SHOW UP AUTOMATICALLY in my Vudu movie library -- but it didn't.

                  This is extremely disappointing. BOOOOOOOOO!

I hope the Vudu techs are working on this.

                    I second this. Same problem.

                      Hi everybody,

We confirmed that we're using the correct ID for this movie. If the company you redeemed the film with is still using the old ID, it won't transfer to VUDU. Flixster or Universal should be able to update this information for you if you contact them (Depending on which you redeemed with).

I got this movie through D2D last year and it has been completely removed from my VUDU library.

Okay, Dan. Thank you for addressing this, and cross your fingers with the rest of us, as I just sent off my third (!) e-mail asking for this correction from Universal (which is where I redeemed my code). I included a link to your posting, hoping that they will see that VUDU has confirmed that it seems to be a problem that Universal has to remedy.

                            Hey John,

We took another look at your account just to confirm. We do have the correct ID in place, so you'll need to contact the company you redeemed with.

On a side note, we noticed "The Outsiders" was not correct on our side. You should start to see this movie in your VUDU library shortly.

                              Dan,

You are awesome dude! I thought I got it through D2D?? Maybe I did redeem if it came with a code. I bought it when it first came out. I'm so confused I am going to have to dig through the boxes of blu-rays I have in storage to see if I have a code or Walmart stamp If anything I can use the home D2D to get it. Thank you for all you do man. I greatly appreciate it.
