    "Offensive" UV movie?

I saw this post on the consumerist the other day
    http://consumerist.com/2013/03/26/fl...-to-delete-it/

May be a bit of an overreaction on that person's part, but I can sort of see where they are coming from. They didn't ask for that movie and now it's stuck there. I'm sure most of us have a free movie or 2 that we'd hate to have to explain when someone sees it in our collection. Any guesses on what the movie that person was talking about. Malibu's Most Wanted would be the worst one I've gotten (17 Again a close second) but I wouldn't say I'm offended by the movie. Maybe embarrassed a bit for the makers of it Luckily it's one of the Flixster movies that refuses to transfer to my Vudu library (thank you Vudu library).

UV needs a delete option, especially for Flixster since it often gives free SD movies for doing things. I have some SD movies I'd rather delete but not a big deal.

      There is no delete option?

I know back in the day there was a few things I didn't care for after watching and didn't want them in my account since I would never watch them. I know it wasn't the easiest thing to do, or even if Vudu did it for me or I did it myself but they're on gone. It was years ago so I don't recall the details.

Vudu and uv are different. Vudu can delete if you contact customer service but it will remain in your uv account if its a uv movie. It will then just pop back into your vudu library. If its not uv it will be gone forever. Uv titles are not removable yet. They say they're working on the feature though.

I agree 100%. We need a way to delete and if we have a PIN setup on our account then the PIN should be entered to confirm the request. We also need a way to unpack a bundle so we can see all titles more easily.

The movie is probably Striptease, which I have received from them.

It only offends me as a movie fan, not for moral reasons.

Same is true for books in Amazon's Kindle service. To get a title you no longer want to appear out, you need to call in and have them do it.

Amazon allows you to delete Kindle, or other digital content, from your library using the "Manage Your Kindle" section. You do not need to call in. UV (and Vudu) really need to implement this.

Or Blow, a movie that involves a lot of drug use. Nearly everyone I know has obtained that movie from them.

                    Re: "Offensive" UV movie?

I requested a "hide movie" feature from uvvu.com a few weeks ago. They said it's something they are reviewing. (I wasn't the first person to request it.)

Some movies appear twice in my uvvu.com account. They say I can't delete/hide the dupes either -- it's something they are working on. The don't show up as dupes on VUDU though, which is a relief, because that's my primary viewing interface.
