Free "Parental Guidance" movie found in my CinemaNow Library

Today I logged into CinemaNow and discovered a free movie that I had not purchased or rented. Parental Guidance has UV logo on it but I did not find it in VUDU, Flixster or UVVU.

Too bad it's not a better movie. I have Scooby Doo and the Pirates Season one in my Flixster account and have no idea how it got there. It doesn't show anywhere else.

Parental Guidance is a great movie. Very funny. I think we need more parents like the Grandparents.

Speaking of free movies, I got a Disc to Digital receipt in my e-mail saying Kung Fu Panda 2, Open Season, and How to Train your Dragon had been added. I didn't do it, and all 3 members on my account claim they didn't do it. I wonder how it happened. Is is possible someone else tried to do it and Wal-Mart added it to the wrong account? If so, someone is missing their movies.

So, were all 3 movies in your VUDU & UVVU libraries?

I also got Parental Guidance from Cinemanow for free. I have no idea how I got it but it doesn't show up in VUDU.

Same here with Scooby Doo. It is in my UVVU account too, but doesn't show up on VUDU. What's funny is, when I clicked on it, it says that it was redeemed through VUDU. I know I didn't do it, but I'll take it. Now I need to go investigate Parental Guidance and see if I got a freebie as well.

I noticed Parental Guidance in my CinemaNow Library a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure that it's actually another UV title that's linked incorrectly. Judging from its location in my library, I'm guessing that's it's actually supposed to be Life of Pi, which appears to be missing from my library and would make sense since they're both Fox titles.

Great observation. I checked and my Life Of Pi is not there either. So I guess we need to watch Parental Guidance ASAP before it's corrected.

Soon they'll be dropping in terrorist movies in your account, you'll get a call from the FBI, and you'll be like it's not mine man, and they'll be like why do you have it then and then sureeeeeee.... they just MAGICALLY appeared in your account.

                    =)

See Eagle Eye movie if you have questions.

Are you sure it's not the free 10 minute preview? CN is pushing that one this month. It looks like the real movie till you click on it...

If so, it's a free 104 minute preview! As posted earlier those that have it seem to be missing Life Of Pi on CN.

This is almost as disturbing as NOT getting Cowboys and Aliens ported over from UV to Vudu because someone has an identity crisis (wrong ID for the movie).

I refuse to buy Cowboys and Aliens to get it on Vudu since I already have it in my UV account. I have to check and see if it was added to my CinemaNow library.
