    D2D Blu-ray Player?

Is there a Blu-ray player that will let you convert your movies with D2D? I hate the idea of buying a Blu-ray drive for my computer, just for converting movies, and dragging them to Walmart does not seem the most compelling solution for consumers.

    Hello tsken02,

D2D is only available at Walmart stores or on PC at the moment.

I did see some announcement from Samsung, but it's not turned into a real offering.

      Consider this an enhancement suggestion.

I just ordered a BD drive for $50 on Amazon, solely for D2D. I'll sell on eBay after, $5 per DVD was adding it so the savings from $2 BD will offset the $50.

Here's a thought I just had. What about D2D kiosks in Wal-Mart stores? You could keep it in the photo section if you wanted, and just like the do it yourself photo kiosks/computers, it could just be a computer with a Blu-Ray drive running the VUDU D2D At Home program. The staff would still be there for questions and customer service, but this would still give us the option to do it ourselves. You could even set it up just like the photo center where it prints a ticket for you to take to the register. May be more trouble than it's worth, but thought I would throw the idea out there. No sense keeping it locked up in my head
