I did Sound of Music last week D2D, but took it into WalMart. It converted fine into HDX from DVD.

Yeah, I had the same issue. I used D2D on the Blu-ray and got the Sing Along Edition which is 5.1 instead of the regular version which has DD+7.1.

from DVD, it got put in the normal version with DD 7.1 when I did it last week. I just double checked mine.

Bummer from Bluray it got fubar'ed. That is why god created tech support departments.

My mother-in-law and my mother are staying at our house for my son's first communion.

Last night, we all watch this title as a big family. The 1080p picture quality was superb. The movie translates remarkably well to a 2013 audience. Both my sons, ages 13 & 7, sat through the whole 2hrs 54 min and really enjoyed themselves.

This is a highly enjoyable title to have in one's library. I recommend the 1080p version for sure.

Without question, top shelf quality entertainment.

Hopelina (& earlier posters), did you ever get your copy fixed? I've never gotten a response from DanielH to my PM.

Since the reading problem hasn't been corrected for Sound of Music, please give us a choice of both the regular version and sing along version when converting by at home Disc to Digital. I converted the Sing along version, but can't convert the regular version. THE DVD is not read and the Bluray reads as the sing along version. I don't want to spend an hour at Walmart converting it either.
