Need some quick help, first trip to d2d at walmart

I almost guarantee im the first person in my area to go in and try this. I could be wrong but i doubt it lol. Being a big blu ray collector. I have several other region blus. I have 2 questions i guess. 1) how aggravating is the trip to the store to do this? 2) being that I'm taking in a few other region blus, is it against the rules for them to convert those movies? Such as Ali (region b), Mulholland Drive is a german disc but its region free. And one tricky one is Walk the Line uk disc that contains the directors cut which on vudu only lets you convert a dvd and not a blu. I wonder how that will work out? I guess what i mean is, I have a bluray disc but it only lets the conversion come from a dvd on the ticket you print out. I would think $5 dollars isn't really fair. Oh well, any help would be appreciated and I guess im just looking for some help so that I don't feel totally stupid going in there lol.

I just hope I don't get some smartA punk.

It doesn't matter what reigon disc you bring in. They don't actually copy the disc. They just look to make sure the movie is the correct title. The movie you get is the one they have on vudu, and there is usually only one version, so there is no separate widescreen or fullscreen copies. Sometimes they may have both a theatrical and Director's cut though. In that case you choose which you want from the list.

Hey man thanks! I'm on my way now. How will they charge me for mulholland drive? I have a blu ray but the database only lets you convert a dvd. Will they charge me 2.00 since i have the blu (hd) with me or will they still charge me 5 bucks since they don't have a blu ray option? Thanks

You should have those in your D2D "Convert DVD's" on your VUDU account. It should already show how much you will need to pay. I'd expect $2 to convert a Blu-ray, regardless of what format VUDU has available. In some cases, they have upgraded clients to HD, once the HD version is available, as long as that is what you paid for when you converted.

Thanks for the help guys! Just got back. I owe an apology to the lady who helped me because she was very helpful. She informed me I was the 3rd person that she has seen come in and that its been a longggg time ago. She was kinda nervous lol. Anyway, it was very easy and the fact that I took in my printed list helped alot she said. Disappointed that i had to pay $5 a piece for Mulholland Drive and Walk the Line Directors cut though. I had a blu-ray but since they list doesn't list a blu-ray option. I had to pay like I was converting a dvd to HDX. Oh well, just glad to finally do an in store transaction and glad that I was able to get some rare titles. I converted They Live, Ali, Mulholland Drive, The Hudsucker Proxy, and Walk the Line Directors Cut all to HDX and it puts me over 50 titles in my cloud now.

I've been holding off on movies that don't convert from Blu-ray for that reason. I'm not willing to pay the $5 upgrade fee if I already have the Blu-ray.

I have the origional Superman movie on Bluray disc. I had to accept an SD downgrade to get it into my UV locker. It is $2. You may want to hold any that are like that. Paying for it twice would be a pain and if they stamp it, you are out of luck. Many titles have been SD only for a spell, only later to have the HDX version made available.

I have two I am holding on in a "wait-and-see" mode ("Something's Gotta Give" and "Fun with Dick and Jane").

PS: Mr. Echopulse. I love your new signiture. ALL DISNEY FEATURE FILMS!!!!
