    So going back to the original question about identifying the studio who would be calling the shots, it looks like the process of finding out who would make the decision to have a title UV or not is not transparent or as easy as looking in IMDB.

    Does anyone know of an easy way? I think the answer is 'no', but if I am wrong any help would be appreciated.

    Several Miramax titles are now owned and distributed by Lionsgate.
    The boys are Back
    The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
    Chocolat
    Life is Beautiful
    Pulp Fiction

    that being the case;

    Stargate = Lionsgate

    I checked on the Lionsgate site and they do show Stargate as one of theirs. I sent them an e-mail from the contact form.

    The Reader = something called "The Weinstein Company" I have never heard of them, but looking on the internet does show them as a pretty big holding company. No contact info though.

    I have iron man 1 & 2 in my uv account from before they were pulled. It list the studio as Paramount. Same with Thor and captain America.

    The best way to find out who has the digital rights is to search for it on vudu. They usually list the studio who has the rights on the movie page. Those marvel movies are a special case because Disney bought them out. I don't think it's ever been confirmed that's why they were pulled, but that's everyone's best guess.

    my list is pretty long and I want to start to see who is to blame. Misery likes company, the phrase goes and I figure if I am miserable, I want to know who is responsible for making me that way.

    Help Identifying UV Studio:

    I would like to ask for some help.

    I have several titles I would like to pester the studio about adding into the UV eco-system. I am finding it a challenge to identify who to bother though

    For instance;

    "Ironman" (2008) I own on Bluray Disc. The jacket indicates "Paramount". I do know in this case Disney bought the rights to Marvel and therefor even though Paramount originally released the packaged media, they no longer have say in this title being added to the UV ecosystem.

    Another is "Stargate" (1994). My Bluray Disc says MGM. Yet another is "The Reader". Again, I have this in Bluray Disc. There are many other titles I wish to know who is the studio who has the right to add or not add a given title.

    If you look on the internet, it is confusing to me to try to find who has the distribution rights to a given title.

    Does anyone know of an easy way to identify who calls the shots for a given title to be added into the UV ecosystem?

    thank you...
