    Ultraviolet In the News:

    I search a few times per week looking for updated news stories about UV. I thought I would share that I have found the most up-to-date list is on the UV site itself;

    http://www.uvvu.com/news.php

    this link stays updated with relevant stories with surprising frequency and it tends to be the gold standard I found for up-to-date information on ultraviolet in the news.

    Just thought I would share.

    It was stale for several weeks. Seems they are finally starting to post again.

      I get the impression that the offices at DECE are becoming more active. Perhaps this page being updated more is apart of that. It is in their interest to publish press releases as soon as they occur.

      Maybe I am just reading the tea leaves too much though. Still 2 million new users in three months would wake up any organization. I suspect they have started to ride a hockey stick growth factor and will continue to for another year or two till the market becomes saturated.

        Re: Ultraviolet In the News:

        UVVU.COM had seven press releases in April, but only one for all of May. Nothing since May 1st.

        News About UltraViolet had 12 articles in April, but nothing since April 25th. Most of the traffic was on the new international rollout for UV.

        This forum still seems the best place to get news on UV.

          Nah, this has been an active place for D2D news. Disney's new DigitalCopy+ has been a hot topic and the D2D beta testing incentive credits are two recent examples, but those are not UV news items.

          I still think the PR official announcements concerning UV is well maintained over there. It is just that there has not been any activity recently. Australia was a big event. Also the Kaleidoscope partnership. Absent that, DECE has not been in the news recently.

          Tell me if I am wrong though. Personally, I have not seen any UV news as of late.

            They need to keep up the interest. Regular enhancements would help keep it visible to consumers and potential partners.

            I think of UV as herding cats. I can't imagine how they get all of those studios to agree on anything!

              My father use to be a very good salesman.

              He told me once while he was still alive, "Once you make a sale, shut up.", meaning anything you say after you make the sale is only putting the sale at risk.

              Maybe they are happy with the trajectory they are on and want to maintain that status quo for as long a possible.
