I am going into WalMart on Friday. I will catalog digital copy offers while they process my D2D bi-weekly order. Last time I did so, the only ones with iTunes was "Lincoln" and Disney titles, but I will check again on Friday.

Far and away, most were UV exclusive for digital copy redemption
There's a table button Not sure I've ever clicked it before. It just prefills some code into the text box.

It's far too hot to do catalog titles, too! I have been noticing more UV inclusion on those of late.

Sorry, you were right. My Stargate is lionsgate too and that who is disto'ing it currently too. Star Wars though is no longer 20th century fox. That has moved under the Disney Studios umbrella.

Fox never had the rights to Star Wars, Lucasfilm did. Fox just had a contract to distribute the films, but Lucasfilm dictated the terms of release. Now Disney owns Lucasfilm, so we won't be getting Star Wars on UV until Disney joins the system. The same is true with Indy.

Fox still has the rights to distribute the SW movies until ~2018 (could be off a year). So, you won't see Disney releasing them until after that time passes.

I was off a bit but it was talked about when the deal was made. Fox actually has rights to the first film (No. 4) in perpetuity and they retain worldwide distribution rights (for the other films) until May 2020. Here's one such report:

So we could see a SW pop into the UV High Priest's list unannounced?

They could, assuming Fox has streaming distribution rights, if they chose to make them available. But knowing Fox I wouldn't hold my breath.

I was just watching the first Fantastic 4 with my boys. That is a 20th Century Fox title I got via D2D. Rise of the Silver Surfer too.

Fox seems to be hit and miss on what they allow for D2D or UV.

It will be interesting to see what Disney does with the next set of releases with a digital copy which include:

                              Iron Man 3
                              The Little Mermaid
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
                              The Muppet Movie
                              Return to Neverland
                              Robin Hood
                              Sword in the Stone

I agree and had been wondering the same thing. The way I understand it, all the above except for Iron Man 3, are distributed from a different division then the one doing Oz. The new releases, like Oz and Iron Man 3 will for sure be using DigitalCopy+. The other updated catalog titles may well continue to use the older digital copy method.

I hope that is not the case, but time will tell.
