Has the new version resolved any of the issues around "multiple titles on one disc"?

For instance the various American Pie movies that contain both rated/unrated content on he same SKU/disc? As of the last version before this update, discs will typically be recognized as one or the other but not both. That needed fixin'. Has it been addressed yet?

I wouldn't mind if each "version" required its own 'payment' though I'd mind even less if they were bundled for some cheaper price or a single price of whatever converting the "disc" as a whole would be.

If the new version changed anything I can't tell. Seems like the only new features are the free bonus movie, the 50% offer and the availability on Macs now. Library seems untouched based on what I've seen. Others have said similar. Maybe they are waiting for more input from new users before updating the library to fix issues identifying. I'm not sure how they would be able to fix the multi disc problem.

Well, one assumes that A) the inserted disc links to a specific record from the studio or something that tells VUDU what disc & what titles are on it. One would HOPE the studios' info would be thorough enough for that kind of thing, that a disc has both Title X & Title Y on it. Like a double feature "Renaissance" + "Equilibrium" Blu-Ray disc.

Or, alternately: B) it seems to me that as folks are inputting massive volumes of data into the system saying "this isn't my disc" "this other title is my disc" VUDU wold hopefully be making catalogs of these multi-identifications and then verifying them against actual discs. One might assume they could then in-house say "yes indeed, this disc does have both of the specified titles these folks say they do" and then when the system sees that disc it would say "these titles were found on this disc" and then offer the option to "recognize" one or all of the titles / versions on the disc (check box or something?).

One would assume that over time the "validity" of many "alternate identifications" would solidify as you get a larger sampling of "not my disc" claims and some majority reach an overwhelming quorum of agreement that "this disc" really does contain "these specific titles." That is, if you have 1000 "not my disc" entries and 998 say that "this disc is really American Pie (Theatrical) & American Pie (Unrated)" and two say "This is Van Wilder" and/or "This is Jurassic Park." You can pretty much discard the singleton outliers and check the items most agreed upon versus actual discs / products or the studio (Is there a disc with these specifications that contains the alleged title(s)? Yea or nay?). Voila, agreement, code a "multi-title select & add to cart" routine. Done. Right?

Multi-disc titles can show both titles which would be the same behavior that some discs (i.e LOTR) currently display today. In fact the current software version appears to have taken a step back. What I mean by that is when a disc wasn't eligible for D2D the error message and the way it was formatted within the screen of the app went from Format A -> Format B -> Format A.
