    Some people justify remaining in their comfort zone on the most small, obscure detail that they over inflate the importance of when there is overwhelming compelling reason to change.

    Three reasons to leave iTunes;

    1) iTunes has no way to stream to a TV w/o AppleTV in the same LAN as a computer with a downloaded copy loaded into iTunes , iTunes open, and with Homesharing on. That is a lot of prerequisites just to watch a movie on a TV.

    That is silly.

    How bout two button presses on a Roku, PS3, or X-Box remote without any other prerequisites and then live VoD of your entire library w/o any digital copy download necessary?

    2) 1080p. iTunes don't got it.

    3) D2D. iTunes don't got it.

    It's in our list of things to do. We have offered that for the living room devices.

    I just think it's interesting there are titles they have the rights to, but aren't showing us, and it makes me wonder what other movies are out there that we think are unavailable.

    Austin Powers #3 - "Goldmember."

    You can watch it on Vudu if you get it into your UV locker.

    You can not buy it from Vudu.

    ...go figure.

    It's not uncommon for movies to be in your library but not in the search field. It just means Vudu doesn't currently offer it for whatever reason but they did at one point so it's in your library. Movies come and go during release windows on all the sites (Vudu, Itunes, Amazon). Even on Itunes I have movies in my purchase history that I can re-download that Itunes does not currently sell.
    I think VUDU should still show it when you search for it. If you own it then you can play it, if you don't then you should see that the title is currently not available for purchase or rental due to whatever reason.

    It's not unusual for Vudu to have rights to D2D, Rental, or whatever. I expect there are some made available as a package by the studios.
