    Some questions and a suggestion

    1. Last Friday evening, I purchased from walmart a double film set of Fast & Furious (the fourth one not the first) and The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift (the third) and went home and downloaded disc to digital to convert Tokyo Drift as Fast & Furious had an ultraviolet copy which I had redeemed. I opened up the case and saw that Universal Studios was being a show off as they fit both movies on a single side! This was not a double sided disc or 2 seperate dvds (such as in those dvds which came with a bonus features disc). I put it in my computer anyhow and ran the application, and it somehow gave me a redemption for Tokyo Drift. Now I am of course happy that I got 2 digital movies (#4 from ultraviolet and Tokyo Drift from disc to digital in home), but in case I run into the same thing with another dvd that has two films on one side, is there a way to specify which movie I want?

I have a few more questions about this-
    2. I noticed it was possible to download movies from your library onto your computer and I want to know if I am able to put these into itunes or media go.
    3. If a disc is scratched up, is it possible to specify what movie it is?
    4. If my roommate forgot to log-off of his account and I accidentally got his account charged and he got the movie instead of me, would it be possible for the movie to be transferred to my account and off his and for his account to have the charge dropped?

Thank you very much for your help!

Re: Some questions and a suggestion

    Hello and welcome.

download is a new feature, introduced last month. Prior to that, Vudu was a streaming only service and you needed Wifi to watch on the Vudu to go application.

Flixster did allow you to download. Vudu was catching a lot of flack over this and finally got around to updating their app.

Now you can download, but you need watch it via the Vudu to go application. It is not transportable to iTunes.

Hope this answers your question #2.

Concerning #3, you can always go into a WalMart photo counter and do an in-store disc to digital transaction. No reading of a disc is needed with that method. They just visually check to ensure you are in possession of the title.

Concerning #4, yes this can be corrected. You would just contact support@vudu.com. I am sure they would work that out for you.

    Take care.

If the disk is too scratched to read - or if the Digital D2D just doesn't recognize it (say because as you said it has 2 movies on one disk) - you can always go into a Walmart and do in-store D2D.

      4. If my roommate forgot to log-off of his account and I accidentally got his account charged and he got the movie instead of me, would it be possible for the movie to be transferred to my account and off his and for his account to have the charge dropped?
I think your roommate will have to contact VUDU support to get the movie refunded. I don't think they can transfer it - but you should be able to do the D2D again on your own account.
