Just bought 5 WB DVD VUDU collections at Walmart. I bet you know what the problem is.

I just bought the harrison ford collection, the internal affairs and town double feature, the underworld trilogy, the martin scorsese collection, and the denzel washington collection in Austin Texas at a Walmart. All from Warner Brothers. All were $9.97. The martin scorsese collection code did not work, the denzel washington collection code did not work, and the internal affairs and town double feature did not even have a code in it. I didn't bother with underworld and and harrison ford collection because, frankly, I'm pretty smart and yeah I can spot a trend.

I'd like to know who I should be ****ed at.

Re: Just bought 5 WB DVD VUDU collections at Walmart. I bet you know what the problem

I had a similar problem with a bunch of cartoon classics releases several months ago. None came with codes and I was frustrated. I contacted Flixster customer support and they took care of it right away. Since all your purchases were WB, and Flixster is run by them, I'd try one of two things.

    1) Try the codes on Flixster for each release and see if they work there (I've had some codes work on Flixster that, for whatever reason, didn't work on VUDU.)

    2) Contact Flixster support and likely they'll just issue you new codes. Sometimes they even have chat support, which I've used to great success. If you give them your codes that are not working, they'll issue you a new code. If you have no code, you're going to need to send in a photo of your box art, receipt and probably the UV sticker from the front of the packaging to get new code.

I am not a mod, but if it were me, this is what I would do. Hope this helps.

Re: Just bought 5 WB DVD VUDU collections at Walmart. I bet you know what the problem

I do feel bad for you.

I was suspecting something similar. I was happily surprized when each one of mine worked. I was further pleased to find the titles show up as HDX versions.

I just went back and counted.

I have done 15 in the past few weeks from my local WalMart's blue bin ($7.88 for Bluray +UV copy)

all had codes that worked. I have yet to have one that does not.

Perhaps it is some local problem.

Again, I feel bad for you and hope it gets worked out.

Re: Just bought 5 WB DVD VUDU collections at Walmart. I bet you know what the problem

I've had similar problems several times. Each time, I took them back to Walmart & they gave me new/different discs & they worked fine the next time. I had a problem with a digital copy (Scorpion King 3). I ended up going to Apple and they fixed the problem for me. I do agree with a reply above; sometimes Flixster codes work when VUDU does not. As he said, Warner Brother owns/runs Flixster.
