They won't ban him but every time you submit incorrect information it lowers your status. Demi God is the highest which I used to be and got lowered to uber after I goofed on 2 submissions.

If you add a movie into the UV section I believe blu-ray.com automatically puts the UV logo on it. That's what happened with my submissions.

No prob. I appreciate the heads up. Below is the release schedule from the site. Several have already released and are not UV.

Unless there is an upcoming announcement I guess the mystery is solved.

      LIST:
      1. "Marry Poppins" (1964) - Dec. 10th
      2. "Winnie The Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year" (2002) - Nov. 5th
      3. "Mickey's Christmas Carol" (1983) - Nov. 5th
      4. "Monster's U" (2013) - Oct. 29th
      5. "Cars" (2006) - Oct. 29th
      6. "The Lone Ranger" (2013) - Oct. 15th
      7. "The Little Mermaid" (1989) - Oct. 1st
      8. "Ironman 3" (2013) - Sept. 24th
      9. "The Nightmare Before Christmas" (1993) - Sept. 10th
      10. "Peter Pan" (1953) - Aug. 20th
      11. "The Muppet Movie" (1979) - Aug. 13th

Yeah, the lack of any press is telling.

Disney Studios going UV would cause a firestorm of press.

Instead, we just have the sound of crickets...

There is a good chance this is the case. People on other websites tend to put UV on anything that comes with a Vudu code. In their minds right now there are 2 types of digital copies. Itunes and UV so they fit it in to whatever category is closest.

Well maybe someone on Blu-ray.com should take them down because they are even there if you click on the link for upcoming UV titles. Man I really had my hopes up. It's the only way other than them being sub $10 hdx on Vudu that I would ever buy the movies again.

Me too. I would never buy EST a movie I held on DVD or Bluray Disc.

Basically, my kids are growing up w/o these titles until they go UV. Below is an e-mail I sent to them:

                  "Disney Studios,

Hello. I am writing to ask why titles from your studio, and your studio alone, are not available in the Ultraviolet eco-system.

Recently, DigitalCopy+ was released and Vudu who is a UV vendor, was made available. This was ironically hurtful. It indicated to me the decision for the studio to join DECE has been 'punted' into the future.

Disney Studios is the last remaining major Hollywood studio who has not joined DECE. The failure to join DECE is leaving a format war in the iVoD market raging, much like what was present during the HD-DVD and Bluray Disc days.

Disney studios ended that format war by going Bluray Disc exclusive. So too, Disney Studios can end this format war by joining DECE and going UV exclusive.

I am a very loyal Disney movie customer. I wanted to inform you that I have suspended the purchase of any new titles until Disney Studios joins DECE.

DigitalCopy+ including Vudu is not an appeasement to me.

                  Sincerely,
                  "

They way it usually works is someone has to report the incorrect submission but they're supposed to verify before accepting them. Maybe they're overwhelmed with submissions and are not verifying them first. All of my submissions always say pending approval for up to several days. I haven't submitted anything as of late though.

in the Vudu "Coming Soon" list, none of the ones which are on their radar are listed as UV.

                        I think this is a case-closed...

I submitted the entry for The Sword in the Stone on the Blu-ray site. They only have the option to add an UV & not the individual sites like VUDU or CinemaNow. You can link to them but that's it. The UV logo is automatically added to the cover art of any UV submission. We add them as UV to keep track of our digital libraries along with our Blu-ray & DVD collections. Instead of removing them they should make a non UV submission section or just rename them Digital with the option to select UV if available.

Thanks for the heart attack. No, really. It is a good way to start a Saturday.

Sharp pain in the left arm. Rush of adrenaline. Fade to black followed by waking up on the floor staring at the ceiling with an unceasing pain in the chest.

I am off to put some bleach in my eyeball and get a root canal. Tonight, I am going to top it off by sleeping on concrete.
