Handful of titles left to convert!!

I've basically converted my ENTIRE library of DVD's and Bluray's over to Vudu and Ultraviolet. However, it's irking me to no end that there are STILL titles not available for conversion.

Does anyone know if and when these titles will be available to convert?

    BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED
    WILLOW
    UNBREAKABLE
    ERNEST SAVES CHRISTMAS
    ERNEST GOES TO JAIL
    SLAM DUNK ERNEST
    ERNEST RIDES AGAIN
    ERNEST SCARED STUPID
    WHAT ABOUT BOB?
    THE CAT IN THE HAT
    WALLACE AND GROMIT
    THE PRINCESS BRIDE
    THE PINK PANTHER
    THE EMERALD FOREST
    PORKY'S
    ALIEN NATION
    THE SIXTH SENSE
    SIGNS

I'd appreciate any information if anyone has any to share on these.

    Thanks!

    First of all, Welcome.

You have made it to the finish line. There are many of us who have made it here too and are left to snipe titles as they become available.

    Here is my list...

    LINK:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...lE&usp=sharing

I find it is helpful to have the "Distribution Studio (per Vudu)" column. Identifying the distribution studio can often be tricky since the studio which originally produced it may not be the same that is distributing it currently. I find just using Vudu to be the best option.

Not a single MGM title has been seen on the D2D program. It is speculated that is because they declared chapter 11 bankruptcy protection awhile ago. I think it is because "Quantum of Solace" lost so much money is why they went under. "Skyfall" came out as the first non-MGM Bond film.

Anyway, unless some other studio buys MGM it will most likely be a very long wait on those if you have any.

As for when new titles will be added, I suggest subscribing to the sticky thread started by Mr. Fattymobookybutt. He has a looking glass and notifies us all anytime there are any additions and what the new titles are. I know of nowhere else on the internet where such a list exists.

Currently, I am anticipating the addition of two from my list being made available for D2D conversion. "The Passion of the Christ" and "Stargate" both recently became available as UV titles. They were both available in Vudu before, but were not UV titles. They both are now.

Normally, when that happens a few weeks later they get added into D2D too. So if you see one of your titles get the purple UV logo added to it on Vudu, it probably means it will be in D2D in a few weeks too.

    Take care...

I like "What About Bob?" as well.

Unfortunately, it is a Touchstone Pictures film, and that studio is owned by none other than Disney. Considering Disney has yet to join DECE or release any UV films, I would not hold my breath on waiting for this to come to D2D.

You both are closer than I am to converting them all as I still have about 130 movies that are not available or are only available in SD.

Same boat. Of the my remaining titles that are UV, they either do not recognize correctly or only available in SD. The rest are either not UV studios, or titles that could presumably be UV but are not.

The ones that do not recognize properly, I know will work if I take them to the store, but I'm holding out for as long as I can hoping they'll work in Vudu2Go to take advantage of the discount. After that, I'll just use my leftover $2 coupons.

I have a handful of ex-Disney distributed titles that are UV, but it's disappointing that Miramax/Lionsgate has not made more of them available.

EXACTLY. I don't know why anyone would have gone to Walmart since the promotion started. I know I'd be pretty mad at myself if they miraculously fixed the disc identification issues (or even a few of them) just days before the promotion was up, and I had already spent the full price....which I can do on Sept. 1, if I still can't use VuduToGo by then to convert my movies.

I did because I didn't want to put up with the aggravation and time involved putting all 48 movies back into the BD drive and praying that it would work this time.

Excluding Disney titles, I only have around 20 titles left to convert, with 25 more on a list to purchase EST when they become UV. These are the ones I own, and would convert.

I hear ya. I only have about 12 to manually check. The others are just a search to see if HD is even an option. I'm not going into the store until there is no incentive to wait it out. I'm not in any hurry.
