    Blu-rays identified as DVDs

Lately many of the blu-rays I try to convert D2D are identifying as DVDs. Several of these I know were identified correctly in the past because I loaded them but didn't purchase them at that time. Now it seems many of my blu-rays are showing up as DVDs. This is very frustrating. I swear they are introducing more bugs than they fix. Anyone else have this problem?

A few blu-rays that register as DVDs now but used to work properly.

    Batman (1989)
    Atonement
    Nacho Libre
    Psycho (1960)

There were a few others that I can't think of right now.

I'm getting the same thing with my Batman Begins Blu-Ray, however, that was the only one I've come across so far that has this issue.

Same here with my blu rays: Constantine, All 3 lord of the rings (the fellowship of the ring was even listed as the return of the king) and Fifth Element, all came up as DVDs. Said to take it to Walmart so I called them and they said no dice on the 10 for 50% off heh... figures! All the harry potter blurays worked as expected (HDX=$2) and I even tried it on an external blue ray player (thinking it might be the drive... No dice all other listed above were recognized as DVDs HDX=$5). This is maddening!

I had four of them that were either identified as DVDs or were not available from BD to HDX:

        Alien 3
        Lethal Weapon 3
        Mimic 2 and
        Trapped

I ended up paying the $5.00 for all 4 of them at the store. I got a $3.00 credit on my account because of the 4, only Alien 3 had indicated BD to HDX beforehand, but when in the cart it changed to DVD to HDX.

          Re: Blu-rays identified as DVDs

I had 1 Blu identify as DVD. I went and purchased at SD then submitted a ticket with support with a photo of the disc. I explained what happened and they went and upgraded it to HDx for me. Took less than 4 hours from time I completed my transaction to when I got an email stating that they had taken care of it. Something to think about. Easier than trying to get the $3.00 credit to your account.

              Re: Blu-rays identified as DVDs

The good news is, that I went ahead and added them through the d2d at home program as sd, then opened a ticket for the ones that were misread, and attached a pic of the discs that clearly showed the blu-ray emblem, and the support people upgraded them to hd without a problem.

I opened a ticket for Godfather & Godfather II. I have the trilogy and only Godfather III gave me HDX for $2 just fine. I figured I would wait and it would resolve eventually, it has not.

Here is my screen captures. It scans my disc correctly as Bluray and shows my disc as ONLY available in HDX $2. Then when you checkout it changes it to SD $2, if you go to edit cart movies, it then shows to upgrade HDX for $5. Really messed up, not a disc problem it is a site issue as my discs scan correctly as bluray at first and shows my movie as ONLY avaialable in HDX for $2.

Check your in-store D2D list and make sure it's not listed there. If it is, try deleting it from your in-store list and try the in-home D2D app again.

Tried that, same thing always happened. It is a known problem and on the list.

I just tried it last night, looks like after complaining about it and sending screen shots they finally fixed it. Looks like Godfather I & Godfather II can be taken off the list.

My Blu-ray version of Norbit read as DVD. After I paid for the $5 DVD conversion I sent pic of my BD disc to customer service and got credit added to my account.

I had a similar problem with Amazing Spider-Man 2 (don't JUDGE me!!!) and I contacted Vudu. They were great. I took a few pics of the blu-ray sent them in and they upgraded to HDX).
