Another Retailer, Movie Stop, Launches UltraViolet Platform

It seems like every entertainment retailer is trying to open a UV-backed streaming service. I just don't see how these other services, like Target Ticket, M-GO, and now FlixFling are going to stand out against the best in class vudu service. I just don't see them being market leaders. However, more industry support of UV can't be a bad thing.

I just checked FlixFling. They are in serious trouble if they think they can compete. The are not even an Ultraviolet compatible site. At least I couldn't find any references to Ultraviolet.

    ***EDIT***

It looks like they're a subscription also service ALA Netflix. So it looks like they're trying to get Netflix customers.

Some of the movies have UV redeem logos on them but I don't see anything that says link your UV account. Why would I redeem my UV movie there and I can't link a UV account. I searched the Terms & Conditions and also the EULA but no mention of Ultraviolet. What a stupid and vague service provider.

There would have to be a UV link, its part of the UV process. Did you actually sign up?, it is likely part of the sign up process.
The press release is only 2 days old, they may need more time to get their web site together.

Maybe some of these new UV providers will undercut Vudu on prices or help drive prices down on older releases.

Edit: Their EULA and Terms date back to Feb 2010, They haven't updated their site yet.

No, got as far as them asking for a credit card and stopped. These guys are just like M-GO but a least M-GO didn't ask for a credit card up front. They do however want a credit card for me to stream.

I am not signing up until they offer some real motivation like deals or free movies.
