    Re: STAR WARS....

Sorry to sound RUDE here, but HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's going t happen when Pig's Grow Wings and fly with the Birds.

Star Wars is a Cash Cow, all they need to do is release the movies on Video and still people will go out and buy it again. That's what they did with the VHS tapes and now what they are doing with the BlueRay and DVD's. Disney Paid too much money for them to let the digital world get there hands on it.

Cash Cow is right. New versions are being release on Oct 08 2013:

Fox basically owns Episode 4 forever, the other five end May 2020 so UV would probably be a Fox decision unless LucasFilm (Disney) have control over digital media. So if not, we could see all six movies in UV at some point.

Are people that desperate to get closer to Star Wars and waste another $100-$150 on goofy old commentary?

I surely won't be losing any sleep over this. I bought the first blu ray release watched it once and now it's gathering dust in a draw and since I switched to digital I really I don't care anymore. Even Darth Vader's common sense says Noooooooooo!

No interest until they release a well converted 3D in combo packs, preferably with UV.

The only way I ever see myself paying for the original movies again is if they found a way to officially release the Star Wars Revisited fan cuts. Those are the only ones that should exist besides the official theatrical releases. I would convert my discs if they offered UV D2D, but that's it.

I'd definitely buy an Episode IV-VI original theatrical release (or THX remastered) blu-ray or EST.
