The Guard DVD (2011 Comedy) is not recognized. It reads on Flixster's D2D though. Any idea on whether this could be corrected? I'd rather take advantage of the 50% off, if I can.

        DanielH,

Thanks for starting this thread. Since this thread started, there have been multiple fixes for the mappings. I still have one that is not mapping correctly. This is the only one of the 4 Underworld movies that is mapping incorrectly for me.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans MAPS TO Underworld (DVD)

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

Here are a few DVD's that don't read correct:

Predator - reads as Predator 2, Alien, Aliens Resurrection, Alien 3, Alien VS Predator
Insidious - reads as Trick or Treat
Cast Away - reads as Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump
Millers Crossing - reads as Fargo
Salt - reads as The Tourist

Hope these can be fixed soon.

          Thanks in advance!

            Here's a pretty funny one:

The Trouble with Girls (DVD starring Elvis) = A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (!!)

Hopped over to the Flixster app for Mac and it recognized properly and let me convert to HD. :-/

The Running Man does not appear to be D2D...or do you mean that VTG will recognize it now (and properly indicate that it's not D2D)?

I was also told today that the same thing goes for these 3 titles not mentioned above, so they will probably remain as selections (though invalid) on the website for now:
                  Law Abiding Citizen (Unrated)

Alien Vs Predator: Requiem (Unrated) is D2D though. It's just only the DVD is an option. If you type Alien Requiem in the search engine 3 titles come up. The Blu Ray (rated version) and 2 DVD versions (1 Theatrical and 1 unrated). Do you mean that just the Blu Ray is unfixable?

From what Support told me, Vudu doesn't have the unrated version in their catalog, thus it is unavailable for streaming - period. The unrated version showing as being available for D2D (regardless of whether it's from blu-ray or DVD) is an error yet to be corrected. Also, the titles for which they did fix for this problem still show up in the search as unrated/extended; but if you actually select them you'll see that (based on the rating and running time) that they are in fact the theatrical version (e.g. "Almost Famous (bootleg cut)").

On Aug 16 2013 I was able to D2D my Blu-ray of Alien vs Predator. Here is the listing from my receipt:
"17 Blu-Ray Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem HDX $1.00"

Edit: Now I see it in my collection as theatrical only.
