        (Updated)
I had some "disk not recognized" issues with:
        • Les Miserables DVD
        • Jurassic Park DVD
        • Sylvia Scarlett DVD
        • Men in Black / Men in Black II - double feature DVD - neither movie recognized
        • Happy Gilmore/Billy Madison - double feature DVD - neither movie was recognized
        • Babe / Beethoven - double feature DVD - neither movie was recognized
        • Liar, Liar - double feature DVD with Bruce Almighty - only the latter movie was recognized
        • Mr. Wonderful on the back side of a double-sided DVD with Doc Hollywood - only the latter movie was recognized
        • The Secret Garden on the front side of a double-sided DVD with Five Children and It - only the latter movie was recognized
        • Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - 2-disc package with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

These Blu-Ray discs were recognized only as DVDs:
        • Patriot Games
        • Clear and Present Danger

The following two movies I receive "Unable to identify this disc".

          The Other Woman
          And So It Goes

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

            Blu-ray recognized as DVD:

Lara Croft Tomb Raider ISBN - 1-4157-2442-3

            Blu-ray not recognized:

Rio (Blu ray cat# 2277280, UPC - 024543772804). Disc cannot be verified.

            Blu-ray recognized as something else:

Matrix Revolutions (UPC 085391115298). This is part of the Ultimate Matrix collection bluray set. The software recognizes it as The Matrix or The Matrix Reloaded.

            Strange bug:

Transformers Dark of the Moon - The disc is recognized correctly as Blu-Ray and allows selecting the HDX version. However, the SD version is added to the cart. This may be happening because I initially put the DVD from the 2 disc set in the reader. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to try to fix it, but no luck.

I did, only to be told that they couldn't help or do the conversion there either. So that was waste of time and gas money.
Drove to yet ANOTHER Walmart, only to be told that they don't do in-store conversions in spite of having the Vudu logo on the door. If LFDH is not offered in D2D as a conversion, then why is it listed? Seriously, I want to do a $5 conversion on THAT version, not the theatrical cut. This not exactly sterling customer service, especially for a "cloud" skeptic to begin with, I must say...

Since you can't get the unrated cut in HD, it's immensely frustrating when I thought that Vudu would offer a simple solution. Apparently not.

Check your in store disc to digital cart. If the title is in there, delete the title, and try again with the at home D2D app. I've noticed sometimes if you back out of adding a title to your cart in the In Home D2D app it will automatically add that title to your in store list. This seems to cause a conflict with your at home cart.

I have no idea and can only hope this thread has improved service. However, IMO if the thread stopped and showed no interest whatsoever then VUDU might glean everything is working fine.

Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer disc recognizes itself yet won't convert. More specifically the Two Disc Power Cosmic Edition with both the Widescreen & Full screen on opposite sides on a single disc.

FYI, there are not too many "flipper" DVDs that work with in home D2D

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

War of the Roses does not work in D2D at all. I just tried converting it and a message that, unfortunately, I'm seeing a LOT these days appeared -- "There was a problem while verifying this disc.". War of the Roses is on the Google Docs spreadsheet that lists a title's eligibility for Vudu-to-Go. It is supposed to be eligible across the board for both DVDs and blu-rays.

This exact problem is occurring much too frequently these days, resulting in needless frustration. VUDU needs to start fixing the problem when a title that used to work in D2D suddenly no longer does. Either that, or they need to start informing us when a title has its D2D eligibility revoked so that we know why a movie that once converted in the system no longer will. Little things like these are making me wonder how much longer I want to piddle around with this program. They just need to be more transparent. It's not that hard to do. The Google Docs spreadsheet is becoming more and more worthless by the day because of these (and other) issues.
