There are indeed some MGM titles eligible for conversion. There is a list of all titles available and the website provides a nice search to check movies.

As for movies detecting as the wrong version I would check the website to determine if that version is eligible and if it will convert to the correct version (been burned before). If it is eligible and the version it states you will get (click on the title) is the correct version then I would suggest opening a ticket. They have had me bring it into a store for the correct version but most of the time just have me open the ticket, provide pictures, then make the conversion after which they correct the edition of the movie and submit for it to be corrected in the app.

Hi danglin709,

Thanks for your reply. I understand those studios do not necessarily participate. Disney does though through Disney Anywhere and VUDU does work with them. I did check on my Disney Rewards site if I could, as many of my discs state, get the digital version for a discount but that is no longer available! I left all my Marvel, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, movies off the list. I had hoped maybe VUDU could communicate that their customers would like to have digital copies available from these studios. It is just a shot in the dark.

It worked fine for me when I converted for me when I converted DVDs from it (last year?). Is it possible there are different editions of it? (I got the collection a long time ago, so maybe I have an earlier edition of it?)

After typing the title of the movie I get this message: We are in the process of manually verifying your disc. We will contact you as soon as the verification is complete. For instant conversion you may take this disc to your nearest Walmart store.

I waited for three weeks for a response from VUDU. No answer and no help. I took these titles to my closest Wal-mart and the photo department manager tried to help with the D2D process. Unfortunately, after an hour of trying to connect with VUDV, we gave up. I then took there titles to another Wal-mart store. No one at this store had any idea what VUDU D2D was (they have never heard of such a thing). Can I get some help converting these titles (all are Blu-ray disc)

One of the earliest discs I tried to enter into D2D was Scott Pilgrim vs the World [BR]. It was about two months past the date on it's included digital redemption hen I tried it, so I figured I'd D2D it. It's on the site, the posted list, but every single time I've tried "Unable to identify this disc" is all I get. This isn't the only one, stuff like Monster House [BR] also fails, with little seeming rhyme or reason.

I found this thread doing a Google search for this Hitchcock collection when it didn't convert (among a pile of other things that didn't convert). I found two posts, one from 2013, the other from 2014, first reporting the Hitchcock collection didn't convert.

It's disheartening to hear that it's more than 3 years later and it still doesn't work....?

It would be great to understand what Vudu's process for adding titles is. It obviously doesn't scale. I presume they do not want to crowdsource adding the disc identifications to their DB.
