Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

I have multiple movies that can be purchased through vudu, but when I try to convert them to digital it states that the disc is not eligible to be converted. Why is this happening? Specifically it is in regard to the tv seasons of the "West Wing". I own the box set but vudu wants $40 a season. I am obviously not rebuying the seasons at a massively increased expense from the box set. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

TV Shows are not disc 2 digital. Not all movies are disc 2 digital either. It must be a movie, UV enabled and disc 2 digital enabled to work. Not everything on Vudu is.

From the Vudu Disc 2 Digital FAQ

"Why aren't all of my movies available for Disc to Digital conversion?
The list of movies available for Disc to Digital conversion is comprised of titles that have been legally cleared for digital distribution from studios participating in the UltraViolet program. We expect the number of titles available for Disc to Digital conversion to grow over time."

I'm assuming he's talking about the person a few posts above complaining about Vudu not allowing him to convert his TV shows and all of his movies.

                        Hey Everyone GOOD NEWS-----

The BOURNE TRILOGY blu-rays are FIXED!

Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum

Each disc gives you the HDX option for any of the three films. Rejoice, there's some progress!

Now if I could just get my Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring (Theatrical) blu-ray disc to quit recognizing as the Extended Edition (since I already have that version), I would be very happy

Thanks Dan for providing us with an update of discs that fixed.
Please keep them coming. Also, since there are still quite a few not fixed yet. Is there any way to extend the 10 discs 50% off special if they aren't fixed by then?

Knocked up is fixed already! Also the Croods. Not sure about the rest.

I guess it's good that things are getting fixed even if there seems to be no Rhyme or Reason. Stuff reported on the first page is still not fixed but the Croods is? Odd. I'm still happy we are seeing movement though.
