You'd think for such huge franchises they'd at least make sure these would be working before adding them.

Vudu needs to step up its D2D game because once other services offer Blu-ray conversion instead of just DVD you can bet the majority of users will flock to them because they actually work.
I got my Back to the Future DVDs to work for me. The blu ray copies aren't eligible for D2D, so that's why you couldn't get them to work. One error not caused by Vudu.

      "Unable to identify this disc."
      "The Heat" Blu-Ray
      "The Wolverine" Blu-Ray
      "The Internship" Blu-Ray
      "The Sessions" Blu-Ray
      All titles from Fox.
Vudu may as well say that the Star Wars collection is available for D2D.

        Not your Disc?

I also looked at the disc and it says that it is fullscreen version, not special features or anything like that on the disc.
I doubt we'll get it fixed anytime soon, this was repeatedly reported even on the old Thread a long time ago.

My "Fellowship of the Rings extended edition" is from the Dvd boxset with UPC - 017239192548

        "Unable to identify this disc"
Rise of the Planet of the Apes UPC 039036048699

I've got to say I'm really concerned that our manual reporting of errors are being completely ignored, both in the VUDU to go app or on here. Whether that is by the VUDU team or GraceNote I don't know, but something needs to change and fast. Not good..

Harold & Kumar go to White Castle DVD says it's the unrated version and not eligible. Odd since usually if an unrated version is not on D2D it will automatically revert to the theatrical (like the Hangover, etc...)

From the 10 movie Star Trek Stardate Collection Blu-ray release.

              Star Trek Nemesis
              Star Trek Insurrection

Both recognized as Star Trek IV the Voyage Home.

All other movies recognized correctly (however the first 6 movies are recognized as all six of the first movies - but still valid)

Hopefully someday the HG Wells Time Machine makes it's way to HDX, as well as Time after Time. Excellent films. Also make the Guy Pearce version eligible! I always had a soft spot for this flick in a guilty pleasure kind of way.
