You're right - NbNW does work ... thanks!

Seems like there may be Vudu "errors" like your two discs and studio decisions like Back to the Future. (I assume it is a studio decision or why wouldn't the Blurays have been added by now.)

Success!!The Big Lebowski Blu worked for me today!

In the past week or two I have had several long time failures start working. If I'm not mistaken all were Blu-ray recognized as DVD issues. I still have a fair pile of problem children, including some of my favorites. I seem to have an usually high number of Paramount discs that don't work. I assume most ID errors are from Gracenote, but why would their DB be weak on a particular studio? Or are those discs of a different (read inferior) quality/manufacture? Maybe I'll start tracking which error I get and what studio put out the disc...

Seems like V2G has had problems identifying new WB releases, which didn't include a digital copy, over the course of the past year.

It's new releases in general (not just WB). If the blu ray did not exist before the beta started it's unlikely it will be recognized even if a DVD was previously available.

I'm surprised they even bother adding the titles to the In Home Disc to Digital list when these titles never get fixed to work with the program. There are a lot of titles I'd like to see get fixed so I'm than willing to help get these titles fixed. For me it seems like a lot of the unidentifiable discs recently are from WB where as in the past the WB titles seemed to get fixed quickly.

They add titles because it's not just in-home. The list is shared between In-Home and Walmart. You can still take all these new releases to Walmart to get them. You just won't get the half off 10 discount (and you have to hope the Walmart employee knows what the heck you are talking about).

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

So I have been converting movies in home since D2D in home went live. I haven't used it much lately because I have converted most of my whole collection minus a bunch not available and ones that didn't work. So I figured it's been a while and since I am sure I am not the only one with these movies it should be fixed by now....... and so I thought. Now when I first tried these I posted in the forums the movie... the UPC... and the error. I also did the steps in vudu to go which tells me to bring it to a walmart ( now that's a whole other story ). So I made sure they were still on in home D2D which they are. Now it's been over a year sine I posted the movies I had issues with. So I noticed that Ender's game ( brand new release ) is on the D2D program so I put it my drive... and boom... bring it to walmart stuff. Now this is a brand new movie. Why put it to d2d when it won't work? As far as bring them to walmart... well I went to the one down the road to me and the guy says... oh we haven't had that service in over 6 months no walmart stores do it in stores anymore. You need to do it at home. Wow really? So ok I read there was a bunch of issues with d3d in stores so I went to another store and the lady is like oh we do that? let me find someone that can help you. 30 mins later someone came over and asked if I would please come back tomorrow when there is someone there that can help me. So 2 hours of wasted time traveling around to get nothing. I could have stayed home and got the same results. So I am starting not to be a fan of d2d vudu any more. They make you convert 10 movies to get a price break but half the time you can't get 10 to work. So I will again... 1 year later... list the movies that didn't work. Maybe next year they may work.

                      Enders Game - 025192217067 - Not identified
                      Fighting - 025195050746 - Not Identified
                      Jane Eyre - 025192074738 - Not Identified
Twilight New Moon - 025192058165 - not identified
The Year without Santa Clause - 883929145904 - Comes up as Rudolph and Frosty Christmas in July
Salem Witch Trails - 096009700195 - Not Identified
Badder Santa - 786936245042 - Comes up standard Bad Santa

I have about 30 more maybe tomorrow I will add to this list. It's not like they are going to be fixing them today anyways. Now again it's been since 2/10/2013 that I posted these.. and they still aren't working. I know this is a "beta" and there will always be issues but I have yet to see them fix any of them they just keep growing. Maybe in time Vudu will actually look and say wow other companies now have in home d2d that works so we may want to fix ours. Vudu was the frontier with in home d2d and hopefully they will stay strong and stay #1... but until these discs get fixed I really don't have no reason to use the D2D option. Sorry about the rant......

This thread is getting off track. Please keep reporting mapping and unrecognized movies. If you wish to have a discussion please create a new thread. This thread is long enough as it is, it makes it that much more difficult.

I don't really care about having the special features on the second disc. just the movie is fine if possible.

Well that was fast. Works now. Sudden Impact gives the choice of 5 movies now (the above 4 plus The Deadpool).
