Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

Interesting note: recently re-tried to convert the "Grease" Blu Ray, and now it displays the "Unable to Read" error, whereas every time I read it previously, I was able to manually enter the title for verification. Sounds like a step backwards for the title.....

"Meet Joe Black" reads as "The Jackal". It's the last movie I tried. Let me know if I need to add it to my cue.

Is there anything I can do to help speed up the process? It has been several weeks for most of the D2D bugs I've reported. I like to do movies in batches (for example, all the American Pie movies at once) and I am waiting for several fixes before I buy them.

I've already sent your list over to be corrected. Only see 6 attempts on this email address. Are you using a different email address other than the forum email address? PM me if you are with the correct email address.

Many new titles haven't been added but many, like this one, came with a UV code so while it may be added to the list of discs recognized, don't expect it to be added to the disc-to-digital approved list as they may not be interested in allowing used copies (or rentals that aren't unique rental discs) to be used to get cheap copies of discs one doesn't own new.

Not sure what response time you have in mind but note that folks have been submitting titles for the past year and many (most?) haven't been addressed yet so I wouldn't recommend spending mental energy watching the pot expecting it to boil. If you have to have it anytime soon, you'll have to take it to a Walmart (or use another service) and pay full conversion price.

The Superman Motion Picture Anthology 1978-2006 (Blu-ray, 5051892046794, UK but should be same as U.S.): Discs 1 (Superman: The Movie, theatrical edition), 4 (Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut), 5 (Superman III, in database as "Superman 3") & 7 (Superman Returns) should all be eligible for D2D; but discs 1, 4 & 7 all show "There was a problem while verifying this disc", while disc 5 shows "Unable to identify this disc".

The following DVDs are not converting, but seem to work fine for conversion if I wanted to use Flxster.

                          Abduction
                          Marie Antoinette
                          Jumping Jack Flash
                          Stir Crazy
Fast Times At Ridgemont High (cones up as It Could Happen To You)

Might as well add this since it's new to D2D:

EUROTRIP Blu-ray = There was a problem verifying this disc.

I also own the unrated DVD and that disc was recognized just fine, although only for the theatrical version.
