    Great news!

Is there something unique about these errors that can't be fixed?
    • "There was a problem while verifying this disc."
    • "Unable to identify this disc" "Please type the name..."

      DanielH,

Thanks for the great updates! Just checked and a lot of those are working as intended. Can you check if these 2 titles below can be corrected?

Italian Job Blu-ray (2003) CONVERTS TO Italian Job (1969)
Man With The Iron Fists Blu-ray [No option for Unrated version even though both versions are on the Blu-ray]

      Thanks again.

The Out-Of-Towners DVD gives the following error "This disc 'The Out-of-Towners - DVD - 1969' is not eligible for Disc to Digital conversion." but that is incorrect.

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

Here are some movies that I have had issues with:

"There was a problem Verifying the Disc":
                Made (Blu-ray)
                Roxanne (DVD)
                Gladiator (DVD)
                Megamind (Blu-ray)
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (Blu-ray)

                "Incorrectly Identifies Blu-ray as DVD":
                Planes Trains, and Automobiles
                Trading Places
                Training Day
                Uncle Buck
                Friday
                Clueless
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle 1-3 Triple feature

                "Unable to Identify Disk":
                Awakenings (Blu-ray)
                Sleepless in Seattle (Blu-ray)
                Patch Adams (DVD)
                Boiler Room (Blu-ray)

                "Does not offer unrated version":
The Girl Next Door Unrated (Blu-ray)

Please notify me if these are movies that the vudu team is working on fixing and when they are fixed. It would be much appreciated.

Yes, this. I so want to get these movies in my UV collection, but D2D doesn't recognize any of them.

Re: In-Home D2D Bugs - Movie not recognized / Mapping Issues

These are the mapping issues I'm still getting:

Flags of Our Fathers 2 disc DVD set - both discs read as 'Letters From Iwo Jima'

The Out-Of Towners DVD identifies the correct disc, but says that "This disc 'The Out-of-Towners - DVD - 1969' is not eligible for Disc to Digital conversion." It does come up in the searches, though.

Starman DVD reads as 'Playing By Heart' - DVD - 1998

Green Lantern Extended Cut Blu Ray reads as Theatrical

Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms DVD reads as Hellboy Animated: Blood and Iron

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Extended Edition DVD reads as Theatrical

Lethal Weapon 2 Director's Cut DVD reads as Theatrical (which actually isn't that bad since the Director's cuts of those movies aren't available in HDX...which would be great to fix as well )

You would think that since they are new and there aren't exactly that many distributions out there yet, that those would be the ones that would work most probably but that just doesn't seem to be the case.
These titles came with UV codes. I wouldn't expect new titles to be included quickly, if ever, as it is either folks trying to use rental discs or ones from friends or second hand ones where the UV code was already redeemed.

It has been my experience that any films that came with a UV Code for digital redemption do not work on the Disc 2 Digital service.

I am starting to see that. Unfortunately, I based a lot of my purchases (new vs used) on if they were on the D2D list. A habit I will of course adjust. Why would they even be on the list if they're in fact not actually eligible? I suppose that it at least means I could take them to Walmart if I get the chance. I just rarely do.

No. It's newer titles in general with or without uv codes that don't work. It's been discussed before. It has to do with the recognition database. Older titles with uv codes work fine like the Harry potter movies, green lantern, wanderlust, etc. newer titles withou uv codes like Kill Your Darlings also do not work. If it says 2013 or 2014 there's a good chance it won't work. It's also movies new to blu ray that won't work. Catalogue titles being released on blu for the first time also do not recognize.

Ah, ok. Has anyone figured out why this is? It seems strange unless there are many tiny variations between discs or something.
